Like many other people complaining here, I paid for a subscription and then purchased additional credits to generate a simple video using a clear and detailed prompt (I’m experienced with AI tools). The model repeatedly struggled to generate it and failed over and over again.Each attempt costs a significant number of credits. Sometimes the credits are refunded when the generation fails; sometimes they aren’t, even when the model is clearly the reason for the failure.After spending around four hours and $45 trying to generate one simple video, this feels like a complete waste of time and money. The way the credit system works when the model repeatedly fails honestly feels like a scam.I also tried to resolve the issue with customer support, but they were completely unhelpful.

Una autentica vergüenza de app, me la recomendo el chat gpt y menudo face, me gaste 37 euros en 2000 créditos, y no pude hacer bien ni un video, le daba las instrucciones a la IA de manera breve, concisa y fácil y me creaba mal las cosas, la voz pronunciaba mal las palabras y tenía que estar todo el rato gastándome más créditos para enmendar sus errores, reclame a atención al cliente y los muy sinvergúenzas me dijeron que todo estaba bien, así que tener mucho cuidado de pagar por esta M, es lo peor que he usado en mi vida, y luego no devuelven el dinero ni te dan los créditos perdidos por su mal funcionamiento de su IA, fatal no, lo siguiente.

Why didn’t I read the reviews first !! Do not waste your money. Did a 26 second video that used all my first month credits. Was specific about what I wanted and did not deliver. To fix it I’d need to spend another $50 and more. Rubbish

The absolute worst AI company I’ve used. Customer support is non existent and 3 weeks later, the problem still exists. Customer support continues to try and close my support ticket without a resolution. If I could rate ZERO.. I would.

Quiero presentar una reclamación formal porque este problema no ha ocurrido una sola vez. Desde la semana pasada he tenido repetidamente la misma experiencia con esta aplicación. Se le explica de forma concreta y detallada lo que tiene que hacer. Las instrucciones son claras. Sin embargo, realiza algo diferente o comete un error y después vuelve a pedir dinero para corregir ese mismo error. Se corrige, se vuelve a explicar exactamente lo que debe hacer y, aun así, vuelve a ocurrir lo mismo. Nuevamente aparece otro error o un resultado distinto de lo solicitado y nuevamente se requiere pagar para repararlo. Esto ha ocurrido varias veces y hace que el dinero del cliente se consuma muy rápidamente, incluso cuando el problema no se debe a nuevas instrucciones ni a cambios solicitados por el cliente. En mi caso, incluso preparé las instrucciones cuidadosamente con ayuda de ChatGPT para que no hubiera confusión. A pesar de eso, el patrón se ha repetido: instrucciones claras, resultado incorrecto y después un nuevo cobro para intentar corregirlo. Considero que esta forma de funcionamiento es muy perjudicial para el consumidor y da la impresión de que el cliente termina pagando repetidamente por errores que no ha causado. Solicito que revisen todo el historial de mi cuenta desde la semana pasada: mis instrucciones, los resultados generados, las correcciones solicitadas y los cobros realizados. Ahí se puede comprobar cuántas veces tuve que volver a pagar por problemas que aparecieron después de haber dado instrucciones concretas. También solicito que revisen si corresponde realizar algún reembolso o compensación por los créditos o el dinero que se gastó debido a estos errores repetidos. Espero una respuesta clara y una solución, porque no considero aceptable que un cliente tenga que seguir pagando una y otra vez para corregir errores de la propia aplicación.

Shitty service. It generates poor-quality videos, so you have to retry many times to get a usable result. It also very often refuses to accept an attached image as a reference, even when the image and the request are completely legal.

I signed up specifically to animate an image. Instead of being able to simply create the video, I was repeatedly told to “tighten up” or adjust the image before I could get the result I wanted. Every attempt cost credits. The problem is that those adjustments repeatedly made the image worse, not better. I would spend more credits trying to correct the previous result, only to have another problem introduced. Then I had to spend more credits trying to fix that problem. At some point, I realized I had spent my money chasing problems created by the service itself. The end result? My credits are gone. My money is gone. And I have nothing usable to show for it. I'm pissed because the system repeatedly required additional generations and consumed paid credits while failing to produce something usable. I would have been much more understanding if the service had produced something usable after those attempts. Instead, I ended up exactly where I started, except with less money and no usable video. Runway SUCKS!
