Absolutely garbage, asked it to make the most basic video from screen grabs and photos and its cost me £20 and is worse than i could have done myself. Total waste of time and money!

Die Bildanimation war ansprechend. Die Sprachausgabe war für unseren Zweck jedoch völlig unbrauchbar: Der vorgegebene Satz wurde massiv verfälscht und zu sprachlichem Kauderwelsch. Es ging nicht um einen kleinen Aussprachefehler oder eine Geschmacksfrage. Ich habe den Support kontaktiert und um Erstattung der verbrauchten Credits gebeten. Zwei Supportmitarbeiter lehnten dies ab. Die Begründung: Eine abgeschlossene Generierung gelte als erfolgreich, auch wenn sie Anweisungen nicht umsetzt. Bezahlt werde die Verarbeitung. Besonders enttäuschend: In der erneuten Ablehnung wurde mir ausgerechnet die Nutzung des Runway Agent empfohlen – verbunden mit dem Hinweis, dass dieser gewöhnlich noch mehr Credits verbraucht. Für mich ist das ein völlig unbefriedigender Umgang mit einer berechtigten Reklamation. Ich habe für einen Clip mit einem verständlichen, konkret vorgegebenen Satz bezahlt und ein dafür unbrauchbares Ergebnis erhalten. Eine Gutschrift oder andere konkrete Kulanzlösung wurde mir nicht angeboten. Aufgrund meiner Erfahrung kann ich Runway für Videos mit verlässlich vorgegebenem deutschem Sprechtext nicht empfehlen. Ein Stern für das unbrauchbare Sprachergebnis und den enttäuschenden Umgang mit meiner Reklamation.

The session produced six 10-second videos and left just 102 credits. Only one of the generations was usable for my purposes. Others visibly distorted the stroller—unacceptable for advertising an actual product. The workflow also produced unexpected overlapping renders. The ChatGPT assistant acknowledged launching an additional render while the automatic workflow was running, and the records showed other nearly simultaneous repeated jobs. I’ve asked support to investigate exactly what happened and what credits were charged. I requested a refund and received automated responses saying the purchase didn’t qualify under the standard refund policy and that my case was being escalated. At the time of writing, no refund has been approved. For my business, this was extremely poor value. Product accuracy was unreliable, credits disappeared quickly, and I’m now spending more time pursuing a refund than creating an advertisement. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Runway for product advertising through ChatGPT.

Extremely disappointing for the price I purchased a yearly Runway subscription expecting to be able to create realistic, usable AI videos. After spending a significant amount of time and credits trying different prompts, reference images, and video concepts, the results have been consistently disappointing. Even fairly straightforward concepts produced videos with unrealistic movement, inconsistent objects, strange details, and results that were nowhere near usable for professional social media content. I also had generations fail during processing, which made the experience even more frustrating. For a product marketed around high-quality AI video generation, I expected considerably better—especially after paying for an annual subscription. At this point, I’ve spent more time trying to get Runway to produce something usable than it would have taken me to film the content myself. I’m now requesting a refund for my annual subscription. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Runway for anyone expecting reliable, realistic video generation for professional content.

Absolutely terrible: The program doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, and halfway through processing a video, you’re forced to pay extra. Once you do, you eventually find out that the end result is extremely disappointing and simply downright bad. When you then complain and realize that you’ve paid way too much and want your money back, you get the response: “Well, you used your credits, so no refund.” Do not use this!

They are still insisting that "by logging in" I can unsubscribe, which is an outright lie. The unsubscribe does nothing more than prompt more messages to try to get you to rejoin. It is a frigging tech company and you cant tell me they cant simply erase my data? but we are supposed to trust a company with one star reviews with many, like myself, wishing there was a O star option to let them know how we really feel
