I purchased the software two weeks ago, intending to create a 1-minute clip. The generated images have nothing to do with what you write in the prompt. Rarely, you might get something remotely similar, but when you want continuity—such as having the second generated image relate to the first—it’s a complete failure. I bought the most expensive version specifically to access as many tools as possible. All the ads you see on YouTube are from influencers paid to promote this. It might improve in the future, but for now, it’s just in its early stages and riddled with errors. I strongly advise against purchasing this, as they promise you can do many things, but in reality, it’s just an illusion. P.S.: I have been working in web design for over 12 years, so I know what I’m talking about. 1 star is too much.

Ignores prompts, seems tampered in order to foul paid-for results at the last second (98%) in order to ruin them and keep customers inserting coins ("credits" to them, but paid in actual customer money), and flags and censors lustily, baselessly. Runway has spent far more programming time finding new and false reasons to censor than teach their silly AI app to obey prompts (believe it or not, give it a try), as if simply using their AI as candy to lure users into a black hole where they will be taught Orwellian American values even the Chinese over at Hailuo are not inflicting, and seem far more in the censorship business than AI business. The Pro plan is absolutely useless, and so is the technical support. They know nothing about the system, confuse questions, and for 'solving' issues, they provide links that any user can read, even without logging in. At the very beginning of using RunwayML, when I still had free credits, I managed to achieve a result that impressed me and convinced me to pay for the plan. Since then, I’ve done hundreds of generations with hundreds of different prompts, and I’ve only gotten a couple of results remotely similar to the first one. I paid for the Pro plan and reached out to technical support for help and advice, but I hit a wall of incompetence.

Could not pay for premium membership because the website wouldn't let me type in my address. Struggled for 2 hours. Deleted my account and next day I got a notification that I got charged for membership. They also banned me for sharing this trustpilot website on their discord saying they have 1.5 rating, apparently I was spreading misinformation. Worst customer service out there. Tommy on discord is useless. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Ich habe leider den Fehler gemacht, ein Unlimited-Abo dieser Plattform abzuschließen – und es ist eine der größten Enttäuschungen, die ich je erlebt habe. Die Werbeversprechen klingen zu schön, um wahr zu sein, und genau das sind sie auch: unrealistisch und irreführend. Mangelhafte Qualität und ineffiziente Generierung Von den 20 generierten Videos à 10 Sekunden war vielleicht eines (!) ansatzweise brauchbar. Die Qualität lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig: Artefakte, fehlerhafte Übergänge und inkonsistente Details machen die Ergebnisse unbrauchbar, insbesondere wenn man auf professionelle Videos angewiesen ist. Die generelle Geschwindigkeit ist ebenfalls ein Desaster – ein Video von nur 10 Sekunden benötigt 2 bis 5 Minuten, um gerendert zu werden. Trotz des vermeintlich "unbegrenzten" Abos kann man maximal zwei Videos gleichzeitig generieren, was bedeutet, dass man ewig auf den nächsten Schritt warten muss. Unrealistischer Arbeitsaufwand Wer denkt, dass er mit dieser Plattform schnell ein hochwertiges 3-Minuten-Video erstellen kann, wird bitter enttäuscht. Selbst für ein halbwegs brauchbares Ergebnis muss man 18 bis 20 Stunden ununterbrochen daran arbeiten. Und das ist nur dann realistisch, wenn man absolut keine konkreten Vorstellungen von seinem Ergebnis hat, wie bei abstrakten Technomusik-Videos. Hat man jedoch eine spezifische Idee, wie das Video aussehen soll, verzehnfacht sich der Aufwand – man kann also locker mit 30 Tagen Arbeit für ein einziges 3-Minuten-Video rechnen. Absurd! Fazit: Nicht ansatzweise das, was versprochen wird Runway und Co. halten bei weitem nicht, was sie versprechen. Das Unlimited-Abo ist nichts anderes als reine Abzocke. Die Ergebnisse sind schlecht, die Software zu langsam, und der enorme Aufwand steht in keinem Verhältnis zur gebotenen Qualität. Wenn Sie Wert auf professionell aussehende Videos legen, sollten Sie dringend die Finger von dieser Plattform lassen. Für mich war das ein teurer Fehler, den ich niemandem empfehlen kann. Spart euch das Geld und die Nerven! Ergänzung am 15.2.2025 Ich nutze nun das Unlimited Abo nun schon etwas länger und dachte es würde irgendwann besser werden, aber es wird immer langsamer und langsamer. Bis ein 5 Sekunden Video endlich mit dem rändern anfängt kann es 10 Minuten dauern, für ein gutes 2 Minuten Video muss man jetzt schon mindestens 48 Stunden Zeit einkalkulieren, was für ein teures Unlimited Abo inakzeptabel ist.
