I’m really disappointed with my recent experience using Runway. After spending all my credits trying to generate videos, I ended up with mostly unusable results. Many videos had glaring issues — hands with the wrong number of fingers, distorted anatomy, broken movements, and slow, unnatural animations. Despite following proper prompt guidelines, the outputs were far from the quality I expected. It feels unfair that credits are consumed even when the results are clearly flawed and unusable. I believe this system doesn't protect users from technical shortcomings and leads to frustration and wasted resources. I genuinely expected better from a platform of this caliber and cannot recommend Runway based on this experience unless these issues are addressed. I request either a refund or additional credits to at least have a fair chance at achieving what the platform promises.

I was shocked when I saw that they removed all the tools that they had. Even the image generator. This is sad and there AI is so bad the videos are so bad anything is bad

Bad results, they just want you to use all your credits for bad results! Kling Ai is way better and pro

I really wish I had seen the terrible reviews here earlier. I can only fully agree: this app seems to be a scam!!! Don’t be fooled by the videos on their website or in the app. You will NOT get the same results. Maybe if you waste ALL of your credits and only if you’re lucky it will provide sone decent results. 8 out 10 times it will randomly ignore all of your prompts and just provide a simple zoom function. I also read their online prompt guide, they do not help!! This is a total scam!! I’ve requested my money back through the AppStore, I really hope it will work.

Their moderation and excessive enforcement of benign prompts and language is ironic considering Chinese owned generators like Kling and Minimax are way more liberal. Impossible to use Runway in its current form, especially if you're trying to make AI films and content that is not PG. I mostly concentrate on gritty sci-fi, dystopian stories, and paranormal horror and it simply won't allow it. Even reference images are flagged without the use of prompts. Turns out the hype reels they dropped a few weeks ago was simply that - hype. I'm quite embedded within the AI art community and I'm hearing a lot of nasty complaints about Runway and its ridiculous moderation policy. They also stipulate very clearly when you receive a warning, coupled with the threat of account suspension if you continue trying to add the same prompts, that they do not provide a list of flagged words or phrases, which makes zero sense. Providing a list of flagged words would actually help the user understand how to use the tools much better. And I guess we can't have that now, can we? Ridiculous. Anyway, I 'promptly' went ahead and canceled my membership and am going to back to Kling and Minimax. A week of trying to create content and getting nowhere was enough for me. Way too frustrating. At least I can use those other tools with little to no issues. If they don't amend and relax their moderation policies (let's be real here, they most likely have no intention of ever doing that), hopefully this company will eventually get lost in the race towards AI video-generator dominance and every serious creator will simply forget about them and move onto better platforms and tools that actually wants to reward creativity instead of punishing it. I'm serious, even if you're a novice at AI, don't waste your money with this.

I paid $15 and I was only able to generate 3 images. And the images sucked! Do not use this service! they just lost themselves a long-term customer

Runway ML gives inaccurate results regardless of the prompt.

I just paid the monthly registration. Straight away the system has crushed like 10 times system. I tried using one of the tools using prompts in gen4 and it was terrible. For $25 a month, yah find something to do guys, this is a money grab. It doesn't really create movies, it creates movements in still pictures. I will try a Chinese service next time. Greed is Bad
