They literally stole $200 from me. I bought extra credits. Payment went through. Did not get the credits. Credits came hours later, after I had already moved to another service. Absolutely no customer service. No refund. In my entire life, i have never seen such an insane issue on any site.

⭐ Very disappointing experience – over £100 wasted I had a very disappointing experience with Runway. I signed up specifically to create animated content using consistent characters and ended up spending over £100 between the subscription and additional credits. The biggest problem was that the generated videos were simply not usable for my project. I was trying to maintain consistent characters across scenes, but despite providing reference images and repeatedly adjusting prompts and settings, the results were extremely inconsistent. Unfortunately, every attempt uses credits, so I ended up using a significant amount simply trying to get the platform to produce something usable. I purchased additional credits because I genuinely thought that with further testing and adjustments I would eventually get the results I needed. When it became clear that the platform wasn't suitable, I contacted Runway and explained the situation. My refund request was refused because I had used all of the credits. I understand that companies have refund policies, but this was particularly frustrating because the credits were used trying to get the service to work properly for my project. I asked whether they could at least consider a discretionary or partial refund given how much I had spent in such a short period, but this was also refused. For me, over £100 was essentially spent discovering that the product couldn't produce the results I needed. My advice to anyone considering Runway would be to be extremely careful about purchasing additional credits until you have thoroughly tested whether it can actually handle your particular use case. AI video generation involves a lot of trial and error, and unsuccessful generations can consume your credits very quickly. Unfortunately, based on both the quality of the results I received and how my refund request was handled, I wouldn't use Runway again and wouldn't recommend for anyone else.

Used all credits to generate a video with voice over. there is a massive mismatch between video and voice and after numerous attempts and using almost all credits it was still not correct, Really not happy with the service . Also not able to refund for a service that dit not deliver.

Das gesamte Monatsguthaben eines Pro-Accounts war nach wenigen Minuten für 7 Fehlversuche komplett aufgebraucht, bis ein einziges halbwegs nutzbares Ergebnis vorlag. Die gezeigte Werbung entspricht absolut nicht der Praxis. Wer verlässliche Ergebnisse für den professionellen Einsatz sucht, verbrennt hier nur sein Geld. Keine Empfehlung!

I cant believe they had to take money from me before I could test anything. This is just modern day robbery. You got one months fees from me but you lost a potential longer term customer. Build an app that's fit for purpose before you start taking money. The AI generated images were very disappointing and I could not use any of my own as it modified them before using them.

Just a terrible product. Generates videos with so many errors that they are unusable and then you have to use credits to try and get it to fix its mistakes and it still looks bad.

It's terrible! I spent many hours finally getting my video the way I wanted it and when Runway exported the video there was no sound. I tried everything. Went to the other stupid help chat bot and they told me I created the timeline wrong. What? You are the one that created it! Why would you create something that doesn't export into a final video? It's answer, "sorry there is a bug." A bug that doesn't let you export your final video that you wasted so many hours and and credits on.

I have been using Runway for many months. It was good at first, of course had some glitches. But the unlimited plan made it worth it, until it wasn't. They have zero customer service, I had a major issue where I was charged $350.00 when I should have been charged zero. I emailed and chatted with them at least 25 times, I never got a real response, ever. Now they are putting "This content violates our policy" on EVERYTHING! Example 2 images of people walking up stairs and down stairs, Yes it is a courthouse, but i do not say that in prompt. That is how bad it is. I literally just want to get them moving up the stairs and down the stairs, NOPE, VIOLATION. Impossible. They now are cutting everyone off with unlimited plans and going to credits. I believe they are also putting violations on everything so you cannot create anything. If you have to use their credit system, you will spend $300.00 at least to make one 10 minute video. If they make any mistakes, you will never get a dime back. NEVER USE RUNWAY, RUN, RUN, AWAY!!
