Big Savings!
I was almost ready to purchase a rug, but I didn't feel good about the price. I ended up finding a very similar rug, for half the price, at Rugs HQ! I'm glad I kept looking.

REVIEWS ARE MISLEADING
BUYER BEWARE. Most, if not ALL, of these reviews of RugsHQ.com are BEFORE the buyer receives the merchandise. Why? Well,after you place the order, RugsHQ.com says they will give you a 'credit' if you do. Who's not going to do that? And since all you did was place an order, of course the review is going to be good. Placing an order is easy and let's face it, you probably wouldn't be initially ordering from a company that you didn't like. So why wouldn't the reviews be positive?
Well, I finally saw how they treat customer some time AFTER you place your order. The rug was on back order. First, I don't feel they should allow orders to be place if so or at least let people know before submitting the order. As of today, they are still letting people purchase the rug without any notification on their website stating it isn't available.
The one credit I do give them is they did send an email after it was ordered stating it was on backorder and asked if I wanted to wait. I sent an email stating I was willing to wait. Three weeks passed and then out of the blue they cancelled the order. I'm assuming it was because it was backordered but I don't know since they didn't say. It was just cancelled.
Now all this time has passed when I could have simply ordered from someplace else and already received my order. It was very unprofessional.
What burns me the most is they have an 'excellent' rating which will mislead people to think they should order from them. But it's not because they are a good company, but rather because a customer can simply 'submit' an order and get a so called credit for it.
Unfortunately, most people won't ever go back here to re-submit a review.

We are sorry you feel that strongly about our review process. Please let us clarify:
We DO NOT ask people to post positive reviews, or pay for positive reviews. We offer compensation for your time to go through our survey; this is a very common process since surveys are different from reviews. Customers have a choice to leave us a negative review (as you clearly have) and post any information they feel appropriate, even if it is unfair and very misleading for our viewers. We have absolutely no way to remove a customer review since it is managed by a 3rd party review service.
Furthermore. All review systems ask customers to leave a review at time of purchase, AND also when the item is delivered. Customers have every right to return and update their review, and we actually ask customers to post their delivery experience, product review, or simply any other information they prefer.
You are correct, we have a five start rating, but if you take a look at our reviews, you are the only customer that was unhappy with your purchase. Here is why:
You placed your order with us for a rug that was just sold out. We immediately notified you via email that this rug was sold out and offered 10% discount, just for keeping your order. We did not hear back. We then called you 2 times and could not reach anyone with the phone number you provided. Since we could not reach you, we had to cancel your order. You were never charged, and we sent you 4 emails stating that your order will be canceled, with an option to re-order, using your 10% off discount.
As stated on our website, we are a direct Authorized dealer for brands we feature. That is why we are able to offer such low prices, free shipping, and free rug pads. There is no other rug retailer out there that can compete with our low prices and our lever of service. Hence, positive five star reviews!
Again, we are very sorry that you are unhappy with us, but we feel that we have made every effort to contact you, but instead of calling us back, you felt the need to stain our reputation publicly, with wrongful information that is very misleading to our customers.
Even now, we would be happy to hear back from you to rectify the situation and go over this issue, but that would require a call from you: (888) 588-4558 .
