RTA Wood CabinetsReviews of rtawoodcabinets.com

I rebuilt a sizable kitchen practically from scratch, using RTAWoodCabinets manufactured by JSI Cabinetry. They arrived in flat boxes, well packaged on two pallets, on time and without damage. Minor missing parts were replaced expeditiously. JSI is a reasonably well known company and what I bought was their economical line of RTA cabinets with NO particle board. Assembly went without a hitch and the results exceeded our expectation. Next time I do a kitchen or bath reno, I will contact Phil Wulliger of RTA Wood Cabinets first.

Good quality, especially for the price. I purchased cabinets for a laundry room and hall bath. I have assembled all cabinets. Very solid construction for all. I installed the cabinets in the laundry. As a handy homeowner I had no difficulty hanging them myself, even to the point of having to cut one cabinet down about 1/4in to fit. I was able to achieve a very professional look. While the wood in the construction is all hardwood/plywood, we all understand wood hardness is on a scale. This is on the softer side, even if hardwood. We had one packaged damaged in transit. RTA (and Phil W in particular) sent out a replacement almost immediately. I was very pleased with the follow-up. I would definitely purchase again.

I'm giving these cabinets a 5 star, but some things could be a bit better. The screws and some of the hardware definitely needs some upgrades. Lots of stripped screws, even screwing them in by hand. Don't be tempted to use a power screw driver unless it has a slip clutch. One thing...build the cabinets a couple weeks before install, just in case there is damage. I did have a cabinet damaged and RTA requested a picture and I had a complete new cabinet in about 10 days. Assembly was pretty straight forward. There are no instructions included, as you can watch RTA Wood Cabinet assembly on YouTube. Overall, the finished product is gorgeous. I've had many compliments on them. Phil was amazing...very helpful and patient. We changed our design and cabinet style quite a few times and Phil never pressured me to make a final decision. Double check and triple check everything you need, as shipping is pretty pricey if you need to order anything after the fact. Once again, Phil made sure we had everything we needed, but I wanted to order an additional piece after the initial order, and the shipping charges were quite high.

I just installed my second kitchen with them. Very knowledgeable staff and Great costumer service, amazing designers. Great quality and cheap pricing. I would definitely recommend RTA Wood Cabinets!!

There are several ready to assemble cabinet companies on line. I hooked up with this one by accident. Glad I did. Be sure you search RTAWOODCABINETS.COM Customer service was outstanding! Phil W. was extraordinary. Our installation was complicated yet Phil helped us from beginning to end...even after the bill was paid. He provided design suggestions and installation help when needed. Hinges, knobs and color were all areas he helped us with. Emails were promptly answered and phone calls were always helpful. He held our hands through the entire process, often calling to check on our progress. (I guess we were a tiny bit needy!) When needed he sent us very helpful "how to" videos that the company provided. The kitchen cabinets we chose were lower priced than other ready to assemble brands that we considered. So initially we were concerned. But our carpenter was very pleased with the quality of wood and hardware and he will definately use again. I have recommended to my friends. Renovation is hard but great customer service makes it worthwhile. My bathroom is next! Thanks Phil

I am no contractor just a regular do it yourself kind of guy and had a friend help me ... to about a week to prep the kitchen as far as taking down old cabinets and putting together the new ones painting and fixing the ceiling and then putting up the cabinets... the wood was pretty easy to work with and the online instructions are OK nOT GREAT and the wood is ok even if it is Chinese plywood and came out quite well... I would definitely use this company again and PHIL should be leading it. Very responsive to you and does a great job explaining it .... thanks again PHIL for all your great help and work...

I am a contractor and have used RTA on many occasions They consistently deliver quality planning service, pricing on time. The issues that arose were addressed quickly and thoroughly. These are great mid grade cabinets, priced well. Thanks Phil for all your efforts. .

Cabinets are amazing quality and beautiful. Furthermore, they are a fraction of the cost you can purchase a comparable cabinet in a store. It's a no brainer--higher quality cabinets for less money--you would be crazy not to purchase your cabinets here. Additionally, the customer service was fantastic! Phil was our customer contact, and he definitely deserves a raise because he is quick with reply and exceptionally helpful. Thank you RTA Wood Cabinets; you have added a long lasting, elegant touch to our home.
