Royal Palm Moving and StorageReviews of royalpalmmoving.com

My experience with Royal Palm was horrible! I provided an itemized list of all items to be moved...in great detail. When the contracted moving company showed up, they explained that Royal Palm had grossly underestimated the cubic footage needed. So, the move would cost 2.5 times the estimate. I was not able to move my items. Royal Palm will not refund my deposit. Their suggestion was to have the moving company take the items that would fit in the cubic footage that Royal Palm estimated...although this would only be one-third of the items I listed on the quote. They had no solutions for how to move the rest of the items on my list. Now trying to get $1279 back from the deposit and hiring a more honest, trustworthy company. Already filed a complaint with the BBB. Please be careful!

These people are complete liars! Do not use!!! They tell you one price and change it multiple times! The arrival was 2 days late. The jerk that showed up with his teenage son said he called multiple times and he was going to prove me wrong and yet he’d been calling the wrong number the whole time. He also said in front of my entire family he was not going to guarantee my belongings would arrive. Then what the heck am I paying for! That’s when the mover and his child left! Pretty expensive deposit for 3 days of hell! After calling customer service they claim I broke the contract! Will be hiring an attorney! DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THIS COMPANY !

I wish I could give them a negative number but that's impossible. They must have family and friends putting up the stars and good ratings because they tried to scam myself and my mom out of our money. We booked with then to move from Wisconsin to Arizona and they never called nor showed up and I had to pay my previous owners more money to stay thinking they would eventually show up NEVER HAPPENED. We called and called and kept getting the run around and once we stopped payment on the check that was sent to them someone kept calling. 😆 Don't fall for this mess with these jive turkeys. All the 5, 4,3 and 2 stars came from someone they know DON'T DO IT

Do not ignore this review. The good reviews are lies. This company is a broker! The lied about the price. We listed everything in our home and when they got there, at the last possible minute before our move, doubled the price and they have your expensive deposit and you are their hostage. We had to leave several large items behind and still pay more. The day labor hired movers with them said this happened to every person they went to that day. We had a delivery date of 8/19, pick up was on 8/13, and did not get our stuff until 9/11. Then, they wanted to charge us $700 more because they said they could not get the truck into the apartments and needed to rent a smaller truck. WHAT!!!! Untrue! We have seen several other trucks this size dropping off stuff in the complex. Then they wanted to add $135 an hour for the time it was taking us to figure this out. They finally decided they were going to unload the truck on the side of the street! This is the most ridiculous company filled with lairs and thieves! All of the large items were damaged. There is a special place in Hell for these people.

We had a medium sized move, but with more breakable items. Christian was our rep and reassured us everything would be packed and padded nicely. The moving company arrived timely at the new place. The packing job exceeded tetris, plus none of my things were broken. Sendless. Thanks guys

We should have done our due diligence first! Before warned don't use this company! Read the reviews! they are not Up-and-Up,they write contracts that benefit them and do not honor what they say they are going to do. They write the contract so that the pick up date and the drop off date are in the same box and that creates them a weak window of pick up with no drop off date. Then you have to negotiate the drop off date with the Van line that picks you up and they will try to charge you more money. They told me that they would call me back before end of business for pick up to be arranged then they told me that pick up was arranged for the next business day in the morning finally they gave me the phone number to the Carrier and I called them they have no idea about any pick up other than what was scheduled for the 1st of September. Tyler who was our sales rep we went with because he knew Colorado he was from Colorado we thought that he was trustworthy, and low and behold he was not. He was just in it for putting a dollar in his pocket and created the contract with Malice Intent. We were moving my Mom from one nursing home in Colorado to another in Indiana. Her belongings were supposed to be picked up on the 28th of August. They did not honor that they said they had a weak window to pick it up between 28th and the 2nd of September my Mom was moving into her new Nursing home on the second so the pickup day was supposed to be the 28th and the drop off date was supposed to be the second that didn't happen. They wouldn't give me my money back I have a credit that's good for a year and I'm sure if I gave it to anybody to use they'd have the same experience. this company is a scam they're a broker they're not working directly with a Carrier it's a complete garbage setup don't use them they act very nice but they just want your deposit And then don't care if you get picked up or not.

The customer service agent said they were a moving company and denied to was a broker. Jason made promises the company had no intention of providing.

If there was a zero. I would give them that They are Thieves. You will be ripped off in every way. Do not use them.or you will be sorry. They lie cheat abd steal They are not a moving company They are a broker and very dishonest. ,DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE NOT A MOVING COMPANY BUT A BROKER AND CHRIS IS NOTHING BUT A LIAR TO GET YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL NEVER GET TO SPESK TO HIM AGAIN.
