I was a pet sitter/ pet walker for Rover. I truly enjoyed watching cats and walking dogs. It showed me that folks really care about their pets. But Rover didn’t pay me, I don’t have their app, and if you get a recurring assignment without the app they will not pay a person for work performed. When you call them to take care of an issue, you get what appears to be an overseas call center. If you E-mail them about an issue someone will respond, but making progress on anything and moving ahead is not very doable. Rover are not honest players, not the good guys from my experience. A company to avoid!

Really like the profiles of the care givers and their facilities. This makes selection so much easier. I didn’t expect to see so many profiles in a small Indiana town and our most recent sitter/walker was fabulous.

My very first time to use Rover. I just relocated from another state. So just imagine how hard was it for me to choose the right person who will give the same care that I give my dog. The hardest part is I needed to leave my dog for a week, and I have never done that before. It took time before getting the right match for my dog and for myself. Everybody that I talked with and met with are all 100% dog lovers. Of course, there is somebody who I was able to meet and feel that would give the exact care that I give to my dog. Rover is a very helpful app., from the beginning to the end of the service.

It was very easy to find the best sitter for us.

Our two cats were well taken care of while we were gone. Caretaker arrived every day at the same time, fed the cats in clean bowls, swept the floor for spilled litter, and even got one of the cats to come out of hiding. I will use Rover again if needed.
