While I love my coop, I'm mostly impressed with my chicken raising skills as a "first timer"! (Thank you for the encouragement when I called to order the coop!) Not a single problem, and they did everything by the book - and so did I!! (Although, someone somewhere should mention the fact that some chickens have ear flap thingys, so they can avoid holding down the chicken to rub ointment on the developing red spots that get REALLY red under duress! I apologize to Marigold daily.) This coop makes this whole adventure WAY easier than I imagined!! Mahalo from Montana!

The coops are well built with high quality materials. Instructions and everything you need to put together is definitely a plus! My only problem is that I would have chosen a different coop had I realized the limitations to the one I ordered. Certainly no fault of the company just my lack of experience and education since it’s my first chicken adventure.

Love my chicken coop! Put it together by myself over the course of a couple of weeks. Had to prep the ground and lay some pavers before I put it all together and set it in place but I had a lot of fun doing it. Hung a heat lamp inside when it was still cold out and the girls loved it on those chilly nights when they were still getting all their feathers. Everyone just loves the look of it when they see it. Very happy I bought the coop it was really easy to put together is quiet beautiful and will last for years to come.

I love this coop. I wish that we had purchased the winterizing panels. I do not use your feeder or waterer though. I would like to purchase another in the future

We purchased this coop, intending to have 4 chicks, but ultimately added a couple more, for a total of 6. It’s a perfect size for them, and they are absolutely adorable when they’re roosting at night...all 6 in a row. We purchased a kit, and one of the boxes was in pretty bad shape when it arrived. Inside, the box with the hardware had been smashed, and it was clear we’d lost some pieces. All it took was one quick call to Urban Coop, and they had new hardware to us immediately. It was relatively straightforward to put together. One of our favorite things about our coop is that it has done well keeping our chicks safe from predators. We live in a rural area, and the second day the chicks were in the coop, a hawk swooped in for a grab. It banged its beak on the sturdy wire, and flew off. We have made one modification that has been really great for us. Part of our reason for getting chickens was to help me with my fear of birds. We ended up “raising the roof” of the extended run, so we can go in and visit with the girls. It’s a perfect set-up, since free ranging isn’t an option for us. We would definitely buy from Urban Coop again.

Felt like I was ordering through customer service rather than a Sales department. We’ve purchased many coops and at least three models from Urban Coop and never had a complaint that wasn’t resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Great outfit, great design, great products and clearly great people who are led to provide service. To me, they’re more a service organization than a manufacturer or product company.
