Roost & RootReviews of roostandroot.com

We have owned chickens for many years. We have morphed from a massive hen house dubbed the "chicken condo" to a portable homemade chicken tractor. Our Urban Coop has exceeded all of our expectations. From the "no reason to ever enter the coop", to the incredible feeding and watering system from completely outside the coop, we have been very pleased. We are running 15 large breed hens, Buff Orpingtons, and the coop is just right for them. We love the ease of clean-out, and have built a composter nearby to breakdown the manure and nesting box hay when we replace it. All in all, the design, functionality, and size are perfect! We have and will continue to recommend you to our friends!

I bought the Roundtop Mobile Chicken Coop. Super easy to assemble, beautifully designed and crafted. Perfect size for four hens and easy for this grandmother to move without any help. So happy with this coop and this company. Everything was exactly as promised.

I’ve been every happy with this Coop. I live in Minnesota and have 10 chickens. I’ve had the coop for five years. Our winters are very hard on everything outdoors but this coop has held up really well. I’ve have had to replace a couple of items, mostly because I’ve been too hard on it or the winter hurt the doors. Their customer service when that happened was outstanding. The only thing I would recommend is to strongly think about whether you want to have a walk-in coop. It is much easier to clean and I wish I had chosen to spend a little extra money to get that option.

On time delivery and went together as they stated. No missing pieces or parts. My only suggestion would be to take the stapled pages of directions apart and post them on a large piece of cardboard or wallboard. You will refer to them many, many times and flipping back and forth constantly was confusing. Otherwise, directions were pretty clear. My 6 chickens are happy!

We are in love with our new coop! My hubby put it together and the instructions were easy to follow. We are confident our chicks are safer from predators than ever before and it's functional and cute at the same time. Worth the investment!

I love my stand up coop. It was simple to put together just time consuming but I managed to get it done in 2 days by myself. It has help up perfectly through the Michigan winter. The only thing is I ordered the storm panels and we had several wind advisory’s this winter and they blew off and completely got ripped apart so I wish the storm panels were made of better and stronger quality.

Love the product quality the look and the ongoing support

Order a Mobile coop pre assembled. It is well built and easy to put together including the extra run I had order.
