Failed after 1 month. Not a premium product.
I purchased the Roofnest Falcon 3 EVO XL rooftop tent expecting a durable, premium-grade product — especially at a price point of over $3,000. Within less than one month of moderate use, the tent’s shell began delaminating, with visible structural issues and material separation. I have photo and video documentation, timestamps, gas receipts, and witnesses who helped install the tent. This happened in non-extreme conditions in Colorado — nothing close to the rugged environments this product is marketed for. Roofnest offered only a shell replacement, which is unacceptable given that the issue appears to stem from poor quality materials and construction, not an isolated manufacturing defect. This is not a premium product — it’s overpriced marketing wrapped around cheap construction. I am now pursuing a full refund and legal action and will be publishing my complete case with photos and video across platforms including Reddit, YouTube, and overlanding communities. If you’re thinking about buying this tent — don’t. There are far more reliable manufacturers out there. If mine failed in a few weeks, what happens in a year?
