Bait and switch program. You're led to believe you were going to get something for a very low price and it's not the case.

Hi there. We truly apologize for any confusion regarding our billing structure. The Body membership begins with a $39 fee for your initial consultation. If approved for GLP-1 medication, you then pay a recurring membership fee of $149/month for the Body Program subscription.
Medication costs are separate and will depend on if you use your personal insurance.
We do also offer Prepay & Save options for both medication and the membership fee. We aim to offer transparent pricing, and this can all be found on our website here: ro.co/weight-loss/pricing
We would like to learn more about your experience. We’ll be reaching out directly for more information.

I have developed suicidal thoughts and barely can get out of bed. I have also developed extreme depression. I need to stop taking these pills immediately.

Misleading advertising
This company advertises that for $39 you can try the GLP-1 tablet. When I signed up for it, I find charges hitting of $39 and $149 which is called a membership fee. When I contacted them to say to cancel the tablet, that I don't want it or the membership, they told me the $39 was to review my eligibility. This is not what I understood and I am trying to get the $39 refunded as well as the $149. I feel that there advertising is very misleading and should be reported.

Formal Complaint Regarding Medication Delivery Errors, Address Verification Failures, and Lack of Customer Support
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Ro has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
I enrolled in their GLP-1 program and prepaid for an entire year. Looking back, that was a mistake. If I hadn't already paid so much money upfront, I would have switched providers months ago.
After nearly three months on the medication, I have not experienced any meaningful weight loss. While I understand results vary, what has made this experience worse is the complete lack of true human support (suggestion made to change expensive medication) and communication throughout the process.
Every time I reach out for assistance, which is supposedly included in the program I paid for, it takes days to receive a response. When a response finally arrives, it is often a generic automated message that does not actually address my concerns. There is no timely communication, no sense of urgency, and very little actual patient support.
The situation became even more concerning when my medication and needles were delivered to the wrong address. My first two shipments arrived correctly, so something clearly changed within their system. Despite reporting the issue and being assured it was fixed, I have continued to experience address verification problems. No one has been able to clearly explain why this happened, where my medication was actually delivered, or how they are preventing it from happening again.
Now my replacement shipment, which contains my increased dosage, is delayed as well (same issues showing up). Considering that these medications are prescribed treatments that require consistency, shipping delays and delivery errors are unacceptable.
The most frustrating part has been the lack of accountability. I was promised follow-up communication (by phone) that never happened. I have spent countless hours trying to get answers, only to receive delayed responses and little meaningful assistance.
My biggest concerns are:
• Medication and medical supplies being delivered to the wrong address.
• Poor communication and extremely slow customer support.
• Repeated address verification issues.
• Delays in receiving medication, including dosage increases.
• Lack of transparency and follow-through when problems occur.
• Paying premium prices for a service that feels largely automated.
• Being locked into a prepaid annual commitment while receiving subpar service.
For a company handling prescription medications and sensitive patient information, I expected significantly better customer service, communication, and reliability.
Unfortunately, my experience with Ro has been disappointing, stressful, and not worth the money.

Deceptive Process
I filled out their health survey and picked a product. It went to approval from their “Dr”. I was approved, but for their most expensive product and a 149$ a month fee was added for monitoring. I cancelled immediately upon receiving the receipt. The Rx was refunded but the 150$ monitoring fee is non refundable. I tried to address this with the company but they do not see it as an issue. STAY AWAY! Plenty of other less deceptive companies on the market

False/Misleading advertising
False/Misleading advertising. It is NOT clear until after they charge your card $39 that you are not paying for the weight loss product itself, but only for a "membership" fee which increases to $149/month thereafter. The actual GLP1 PRODUCT CAN COST $200-$300 and upward a month on top of $149. False advertising of the worst kind aided by the hidden facts re REAL cost until you try to cancel your account with Ro! This is THEFT imo and needs to be reported. Costs should be CLEARLY disclosed before credit card is charged

Sneaky advertising
Sneaky advertising, the $39 first month is only for the membership, which it vaguely explains, now that I know what it meant , that includes no medications the lowest dose of zepbound would cost me $299 a month plus $150 ro membership. The prices they lead you in with are just four the membership no medications don't be fooled don't do it!

Scam
In my opinion, RO Telehealth feels like a scam. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I regret signing up. Be very careful before providing your payment information, and read all terms and charges closely. I would not recommend this service.
