I started my journey with Ro in August 2024, weighing 206, feeling sluggish, tired and having a lot of arthritic pain. I’m using the compound semaglutide. Today March 2025 I weigh 151. I’m working now on maintenance. I definitely give Ro 5 stars. Each time I reported symptoms or had questions, I got quick and compassionate responses from nurses and other helpful professionals. I had tried so many diets that never stuck. With Ro.co the educational videos helped me to understand that I needed to change my relationship with food. I was a stress eater. Today I am more able to control my snacking, realizing that I could fall back into that pattern. I have more energy now and I’m able to walk farther than I have in a while. This coming summer I’m going to do my first 5K. I’m proud of myself. I’m down 4 pant sizes and finally look decent in a swimsuit 😀 Thanks Ro.co for helping me get my life back. Ok now my review is 4.5 as there were a few weeks I was wondering just what was going on - let me explain - I started Ro in January just using the GP1 generic and they were very fast easy no issues however when I expressed that I wanted my insurance to pay for zepbound they said their concierges would help with that , which it did but this is when a bit of a problem started as my insurance said to pay for this you have to join an online weight watchers type app at the same time ( which 4 times a month , 4 “ weighs” a month , they even sent me a scale that WiFi’s to them my weight ) which I did and I like that app it’s extremely helpful . But as this was going on it was I guess everything was happening at once and because I wasn’t a part of this “ weight watchers “ program yet it wasn’t going through (the insurance ) so I said I wanted to switch back to the SG and they did that, but it took a minute, THEN my insurance called and said we thought you wanted to use the zepbound I went back to Ro said I wanted to try again with the insurance/zepbound as Ro is 149 a month no matter what -anything you get extra is , just that , extra , so Ro went back said everything was a go but it wasn’t nothing was sent to the pharmacy of my choice this was where there was a bit of a lag . So for those that have issues because it takes a few days for providers to get back to you , but they will ,just hang in there be patient .. when everything eventually went through - well now it’s just as easy as can be and when I went to my PCP she’s very by the book but I like her she’s helped me a lot in the past , she said idk how they got through the insurance that’s a real pain to do you’re very lucky - so yes I’m very grateful that I just hung in there because again once you get everything straight as to what you want and just wait for it - they WILL come through trust me , they will. I’ve lost 15 pounds so far but I just really started the zepbound 2 weeks ago. I’m really excited to FINALLY see weight that I’ve carried for way too long finally gone. The -5 star taken away was only because there was a moment there where I thought it was just never gonna go through - but it did .. just have to hang in and if you know what you want right away , and understand the pricing , you won’t have any problems mine just had a few hiccups in the beginning but now I am loving this program
