BUYER BEWARE!!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!
I filled out Ro.co lengthy questionnaire and when it ask if I had ever had cancer and chemotherapy I said yes, but there was nowhere where on the questionnaire to explain that it was 20 years ago, their,” doctor”, denied me even though I am getting Wegovy from my doctor. Lots of ,” Standard back of the hand answers,” from their,”doctor”. There is no reaching out there is no personal experience with a physician. As you can see, she did NOT email me where I could email back to explain. Very fishy!!!

Hi,
Thanks for visiting Ro and for taking the time to answer questions about your health, preferences, and goals.
I appreciate your openness and the initiative you're taking to reach your health goals. Based on the information you provided, I think it's best that you seek in-person weight management treatment due to a history of cancer for which you are currently undergoing active oncologic treatment (e.g., chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, surgery). Treatment with a GLP-1 medication is best done with your doctor in person due to the potential for overlapping side effects and the need for closer oncological coordination.
While this probably is not the outcome you had hoped for, your health and safety are our top priority. Do not hesitate to reach out with any more questions, we are here to support you.
Thank you,
Beth Rosenberg, MD, MHS

they are SO misleading when it comes to…
they are SO misleading when it comes to what it cost, no where does it say you are paying for a membership and paying for the product
the membership is $150.00 per month, that does not include anything
Response from RoAug 19, 2026
Hi there,
We truly apologize for any confusion regarding our billing structure.
The Body membership begins with a $39 fee for your initial consultation. If approved for GLP-1 medication, you then pay a recurring membership fee of $149/month for the Body Program subscription.
Medication costs are separate and will depend on if you use your personal insurance.
We do also offer Prepay & Save options for both medication and the membership. We aim to offer transparent pricing, and this can all be found on our website here: ro.co/weight-loss/pricing
Please reach out to [email protected] for any additional assistance.

Very misleading with pricing especially…
Very misleading with pricing especially membership fee. I received an email stating that I could save money if I get the 12 month membership for $75 a month. I accepted then the following month they took the entire amount for the 12 months at once. I receive a monthly amount once a month to live off. Not to mention the billing 2 times a month for $149. Beware consumers

Hi there, we’re sorry for the confusion around the membership pricing and billing schedule. The 12-month plan is prepaid upfront, the monthly amount represents the monthly equivalent of the discounted annual price rather than a monthly payment.
We understand how an unexpected annual charge can be, and we’ll be reaching out directly to review the annual charge to see how we can help.

Expensive. Surprise fees
They charge a cheap start up fee to get you in, followed by the price of the medication. I assumed this was like Remedymeds, where my monthly charge would just be the medication renewal ($150). Nope, surprise surprise right after your second medication charge, you get your membership charge of $200. Then even if you cancel the day of renewal, they'll refuse to refund you. Total scam
Response from RoAug 19, 2026
Hi there, we’re sorry the separate membership and medication charges came as a surprise. The Ro Body membership and medication are billed separately. Membership is $149/month, with prepaid options that can lower the monthly equivalent to as little as $74/month, while medication pricing varies by treatment and dose.
We’ll be reaching out directly to review the charges and see how we can help.

What a complete sham
What a complete sham! This company bills separately for a membership and ALSO bills for the medication. This is completely unacceptable. And they bill you for a 6 month membership not just month to month. I would advise you to steer clear of this nonsense.
Response from RoAug 19, 2026
Hi there, we’re sorry for the confusion around the billing structure. The Ro Body membership and medication are billed separately, and members can choose between a $149 monthly membership or discounted prepaid 3-, 6-, and 12-month options—a 6-month commitment is not required.
You can review the full pricing breakdown at https://ro.co/weight-loss/pricing/.
We’ll be reaching out directly to see how we can help.

They lie about membership
They lie about membership. Got charged $39 and $149 was suppose to be $39 for first month. Plus they charged $149 a month for membership on top of pills. Both my girlfriend and I were misled! Cancelled everything immediately. Better get a full refund!
Response from RoAug 19, 2026
Hi there, we’re sorry for the confusion around the charges. The $39 introductory offer applies to the first month of the Ro Body membership, while medication is billed separately. If treatment continues, the standard monthly membership is $149/month, with prepaid options available for additional savings.
Please reach out to [email protected] to review the charges, and see how we can help.
