Wouldn't accept me because I have Medicare, even though I stated I would self pay. Denied because of age?

Hey there- unfortunately, Medicare/Medicaid plans typically do not cover GLP-1 medication treatment and also regulate the cash-pay services made available to their members. As a result, we are not able to offer the Body Program to those covered by government insurance.

76 yo male. Wanted to participate in the weight loss program as a cash pay participant with compounded semaglutide. Ro.co rejected my application for the weight loss program after I input my DOB. Stated I'm not eligible, no explanation.

They take your money quickly. Tell you that youre a great candidate. Went through with all the labs, picture profile and everything. Only to be told sorry, that's the end of the journey for you. Don't waste your time or your money. Go see your regular doctor. After seeing my review, they wanted to further information to try to explain why I was not a candidate. However, the explanation was not needed because the information did not change from the initial information I had given them in the beginning of the experience. In fact, my labs were good and nothing proved me to be ineligible to be a candidate. Like I said prior, go to your doctor and save yourself the time and the money. This is not worth it.

Hey there-we do our best to explain to prospective patients why GLP-1s may not be the right choice for them. I'm reaching out to get more information from you so our team can explain in more detail if you're interested.

I would be very cautious with doing any business with Ro they sell you a medication 18 does yet they recommend 5 does to determine its effectiveness and if it is not you paid for all 18 and there is no satisfaction guarantee heads up be careful.

You pay for the program then they let you know you have to pay for the meds separately. Misleading and very expensive.

Paid the subscription.. did my labs. At the time I was pre diabetic. Said I was approved but never told me how I could get a prescription for GLP-1... Wasted $ and time. I would not recommend. If you are uninsured or insurance won't cover I highly recommend a good compound pharmacy.

Scam. Scam. Scam. They take your money then lie to you and provide no service. And then return phone calls or emails. Terrible company
