This is a scam. They advertise the first prescription fill as a great deal but only send you the lowest dose possible. The compound semaglutide dose you receive for the price you pay is very high compared to other companies. They will only send you 1mg total for $149 for the first month, on top of the $99 provider fee.

Ro company’s website says that they are able to provide compounded semiglutide without insurance. Since my insurance won’t pay for the medication, and it is too expensive at CVS to pay cash, I signed up for their service. They quickly charged me the 99 fee, but then sent me an email saying that they cannot provide the compounded medication to CA residents. I requested a refund of the 99 dollars since I got nothing in exchange for the money, and they sent back the expected “someone had to review your file so we are going to keep your money” response. I will be requesting a refund from my Mastercard… but just want to warn folks online… don’t do business with this company. They are happy to take your money and provide nothing in exchange!

The program is much more expensive than advertised. I was expecting $99 to start and $149 a month. That's JUST for the "support". Here's a clip from the email I received back on that question. If patients are prescribed compounded semaglutide, you will also be charged $299/month for the medication. ($149 for your first month as a promotion) In total, Ro’s comprehensive weight management offering, the Body Program, with compounded semaglutide is $444/month

I just signed up 5 minutes ago and THEN they tell you the medication is not included. I am disputing this with my bank if it's not removed from my account immediately.

The medication does not work

Was told one monthly payment but after I signed up, I was told a higher monthly payment! Then I was charged $99 for absolutely nothing! Do not use this company! They are liars!

The initial lab was easy and issue free but getting the prescription was a pain No customer service to speak to and the wait was off the charts. When there was a shortage all they said was to go to another pharmacy. I would never recommend, worst experience ever. They are quick to take the monthly payment but it's impossible to get a response. I cancelled the service after 2 months because I could not find a pharmacy that had the product and they were unwilling to provide support other than the canned robot response. All I wanted was a pause in service while the prescription came back in stock.

I was a Ro subscriber for a brief period of time and did not have a good experience with the service. I lost coverage for one form of semaglutide due to insurance changes. When I contacted Ro they said I was a good candidate and enrolled me in the program. Although I repeatedly provided my history and background, and the fact I had been on 2mg dose of Semaglutide previously, they still insisted I start on the 0.25mg dose "per the protocol". So I can easily state that if you are anywhere outside their protocol, then Ro isn't for you. I never communicated with the same provider twice, be it an RN or a prescriber. Some of the communications showed a distinct lack of training and education on the part of the Ro employee. I haven't tried any of the competitors so I cannot speak to their services, but I can say Ro misses the mark
