Horrible. No communication, no phone number to call, no chat, doesn’t respond to messages. Total garbage avoid at all costs.

Scam
You can make it right by giving me back my $45.00.
Your not clear on pricing. I understood it would be $145 a month, but then AFTER you take my $45 initial fee, you tell me its going to be between another $100 to $350 per month. Basically you ripped me off for $45 and of course, no person to talk to.

At very least fraudulent, deceptive…how would RO describe id love to hear.
My insurance will not cover unless diabetic so I was looking for discounted plans as im on disability. When Ro advertised $145 a month and $45 for first month I was all in. While im filling out online form they want to collect $45 and i sent straight away. A couple days later a so called medical professional needed info. Never recd any questions besides what filled out. By no means was info significant but responded to request. This is when they explain that in top of the discounted $45 you will need to purchase medicine. You see they are charging $145 a month for a membership fee. After reading i immediately cancelled my membership before prescription cost applied. A monthly membership almost half of prescription. And what benefit beside monthly prescription.
You asked for refund no i dont get that. Not anyone from company called me regarding prescription or explained that the discounted rate had nothing to do with medicine. Fraudulent deceptive very least. I have bad knees and have had 2 cervical fusions past 5 years. I wanted to get off as much weight as possible. Im looking at knee replacement beginning if year plus would reduce impact and increase mobility.

Hi there! We’re sorry for the confusion and frustration this caused — we understand how disappointing that must have felt. The $45 enrollment fee and $145 monthly membership cover access to licensed providers, personalized support, and program resources, while medication costs are billed separately. This can be found on our website here: ro.co/weight-loss/pricing/ — Our team would be happy to review your account and clarify any remaining questions about charges or eligibility. We're sending you a request for more information.

Tried to sign up
Tried to sign up, but what ended up happening was my credit card was stolen! So obviously I’m pissed off! It’s a rip off don’t do it! They cater to Serina Williams which I’m sure had no problem at all!

Total scam. Mislead. Cost is higher.
I was mislead to believe that the cost of the medication would be $45 for the first month, and $145 for subsequent months. These amounts are only for joining their “program”, but I didn’t know that until after I paid the initial $45. I cancelled immediately, but of course the $45 is non-refundable. What a scam!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!!!!

Ro No!
I was considering switching from my current GLP-1 provider to Ro, especially after seeing several ads featuring Serena Williams. During the sign-up process, I was informed that there would be a $145 membership fee due upon approval, with $45 payable after completing my initial survey. The medication would be shipped after receiving a doctor’s approval.
After paying the $45, I received a text asking me to complete another survey from a medical professional. Shortly after, I received another message confirming my approval for semaglutide (Wegovy). I then contacted the medical team to request tirzepatide (Zepbound) instead, as that’s what I currently receive from my existing provider. The main difference between the two medications is that tirzepatide tends to promote greater weight loss in a shorter time frame and is associated with fewer digestive side effects.
My goal was simply to find a more affordable monthly option that would help me look and feel my best—without sacrificing essentials like paying bills or feeding my family. However, I was informed that Zepbound is rarely covered by insurance and would cost at least $1,050 per month, in addition to the $145 monthly membership fee—a total of $1,195 per month.
In comparison, I currently pay $399 per month with my existing provider, and that includes everything—access to weight loss medication, monthly provider reviews, unlimited messaging with my care team, and support. No additional membership fees.
After realizing that my $45 payment to Ro only covered the eligibility review—which I already knew from the initial survey—I decided to cancel my membership. It’s disappointing, but I’ll continue with my current provider, who offers better value and transparency. Lesson learned!
