Lack of Transparency and Unethical Subscription Practices
My experience with Ro was extremely disappointing. Pricing is not clearly disclosed during the sign-up process, and the flow appears designed to push users into a monthly subscription without fully informed consent. Within two hours of signing up, I realized what had happened and requested a refund. No meaningful services had been provided at that point, yet Ro refused to issue a refund and relied on a rigid internal policy instead of basic fairness. For a company operating in a healthcare-adjacent space, this behavior is troubling. Transparency and ethical billing should be non-negotiable. This experience significantly undermined my trust, and I would strongly caution others to be very careful before subscribing.

Hidden fees, and no communication
I was not aware of after the $199 for the medicine, they charged a $145 for membership fee total $345. When I had questions, it took a week for them to get back to me ( which is the reason for the membership). I switched to a different provider $159 a month no hidden fees.

I started with RO because their website…
I started with RO because their website stated it was $45 for the first month and $145/month thereafter. I could not find anything that gave any other cost. After paying that $45, I was finally granted access to all the support questions on their website. That's when I found out that the price is actually $145/month, plus the cost of the medication, and it still doesn't specify what that medication will cost. So who knows how much it is? This is more expensive, and potentially extremely more expensive, than other sites. And other sites are more open and honest before you sign up about what the cost will be. I have asked for my money to be returned, but while they were eager to instantly take my money, they responded with a message saying it would take 3 days for them to decide to return or not.

Lack of communication or empathy
Lack of communication or empathy. They billed me for my refill but never shipped it and now I will miss my dosage because they did not do their part even though I did everything on my end to complete the steps to receive my meds on time. I hope more people see this and they loose business for this because they are careless and unprofessional.

Is it possible to rate it 0 stars? After 3 months, I found little change in weight/appetite. They charged $145 every month for monthly check-ins and "messaging", but it's impossible to find a link where you can actually send a message. However, you're never more than one button click away from being able to spend more money by buying additional products or services.

Horrible experience and communication…
Horrible experience and communication issues all the alway around. Didn’t send refills on time as well as asked to check into insurance took them over two weeks after many complaints to actually look into my insurance. Then they stated it was denied and I called my insurance they never received a submitted claim!! Didn’t send refills due to them waiting too long to check into insurance and offered no remedy to receive medication despite my card on file and paying as cash. Do not use this company
