Revolution PrepReviews of revolutionprep.com

Revolution for Prep is a wonderful program. I highly recommended it to all students. The tutoring sessions have boosted my son's psat scores. He is extremely confident and no longer has anxiety about taking his sat's

Excellent services! Very easy process to get set up. My daughter has shown so much improvement that was even noted by her teacher. My daughter is usually very shy and quiet, she doesn’t tend to open up much but she felt very comfortable with Kate, her tutor and was able to open up and learn. Thank you Revolution Prep and Kate for your amazing services!

We are so pleased with the support offered by Revolution Prep. The tutors are professional and experienced. Everything works very efficiently and is easy to coordinate and find what works for you.

Our daughter's all-important junior year of high school was not going well due to the remote learning environment -- particularly with her AP Physics class, which essentially became a "self-study" course due to the teacher's inability to adapt to the new learning environment. We reached out to Revolution Prep, explained our needs, and were quickly matched with an excellent tutor, who helped our daughter work through, learn and master the subject matter she was not getting sufficient support with from her schoolteacher. We also did SAT prep, which definitely helped our daughter get comfortable with the test and achieve a strong score. Thanks so much to Myles (our tutor), Michelle (our area director) and the entire Revolution Prep team!

A simple, streamlined process with caring helpers along the way! From start to finish, the Revolution Prep team were top notch. Our initial local contact Shannon asked a significant number of questions in the beginning in order to best match our daughter with the proper tutor (about learning style, testing history, availability, etc.). The initial meeting involved parent for two minutes and then it was hands off for parents and the success of the process lies where it should be - with the student and her hard work. The Revolution tutor and the Revolution process gave my daughter the tools and the confidence to put in the hard work and reach her goal. There is no magic formula - but tutoring is about lighting the fire to learn and Christina her tutor did just that! My daughter completed full practice tests and small practice sections and was able to review all of her individual questions. She went from being uncertain about the test to being confident! Thank you Revolution.

Just to point out a few misleading information in your response. Revolution never came back after rematch with the 2nd tutor Rachel to get my feedback, they would assume everything is fine, this is the assumption Revolution made, not directly from me. Due to the experience of the 1st tutor, I basically told my daughter to be patient and make effort to work this out with the new tutor, she did listen and endure until she decided to give it up as she can no longer take it any more due to the consistent poor tutoring quality. The last session before she quit is extremely poor, the tutor Rachel asked my daughter to pulle out three articles from her school portal (nothing prepared by Rachel at all), and had her read the articles for 40 minutes, with no clue what those readings for, the class has been dragged so long and it did not even finish before the reading is done. Rachel was so distracted during the session (maybe checking her mobile) not even paid too much attention about what my daughter was reading. So where is the instruction part? Isn't a good tutor supposed to instruct, guide, summarize and provide valuable comments to the student? My daughter said Rachel is not even better than her history teacher in her school, so why would I pay $200 while gaining nothing out of it? Is this what Revolution calls a qualified tutor? If it is, then that justified my reason why I have no intent to continue with future tutoring.. as it is a total waste of money and time. Revolution is so disgraceful to not recognize their poor service but continue to press me to use the rest of the hours, They said NO REFUND no matter what. As you mentioned about the satisfactory guarantee terms, this was never disclosed to me before entering the service in any shape of form by your sales rep. That is what I called scam, can you prove that it was even discussed and obtained my consent? It is my right to know before hands not afterwards. I don't even have a contract with you guys. Is it even legal to have no contract per law? If I have had been made aware, do you think I would end up landing in such situation to go public for what the family is facing, paid 5.2K and only got 10.5 hours lousy service? This is criminal. Also just to clarify, in order to settle this issue, I proposed several solutions, one of which is to pay 10.5 used hours regardless of its poor quality, which is around $2K, the Revolution is to refund unused hours to me for $3K. They declined all solutions. As once the money is in their pocket, they won’t give it out even they are at fault, and service isn’t even provided. if it is not scam, tell me what it is. Revolution does not deserve the trust of parents. Parents, rethink before you decide to enter the service, a total disgraceful company.. don't waste your money and time of your kid, there must be a lot of better ones out there, Revolution is not one of them.

Our son has an IEP and we were so worried about the SAT and also taking a prep class that may not be at his level. However, our teacher was 100% committed, the staff was encouraging and helpful, our son never complained about the course — and best of all — he improved his score by 220 points (from his PSAT score). He has done better than we ever dreamed and we could not have done it without Revolution.

The advisor we have is very knowledgeable, informative and punctual. They are very accommodating for the day and time of tutoring. They try and pair a tutor and a student they think is a good fit. My son's tutor is absolutely AMAZING. They just love eachother. She is always on time and genuinely cares about my son and his studies.
