ReveliteReviews of revelite.com

The very best lighting for fine paintings, even light from top to bottom.

Our painting was oversized and while we were out of town, the weight of the long revelite pulled the screws holding the light mounting bracket out of the back of the painting. When we returned, we found the light dangling in front of the painting and it was lucky that it didn't pierce the canvas. HOWEVER- revelight sent a metal reinforcement piece to strengthen the backing to better hold the light and so far, it's worked well. There could have been a better explanation of the fix they were sending but we figured it out. They wanted the light returned but we were able to send photos and to keep our light while we waited for their analysis and the solution.

This is without a doubt the best picture light I have ever seen. Not only does it have a great quality light that illuminates the artwork better than any other light, it has all the benefits of LED. It doesn’t give off damaging UV, it doesn’t get hot and will last for years. The light is designed to fully illuminate the artwork. It does not concentrate light in one area like the old picture lights. It’s realyy the best!

Light too warm , thought it had a temperature control knob . Not a well balanced temperature. Not worth the expense of just warm light .

This product is a game changer when it comes to revealing the artist’s work. Literally night and day when compared to anything else I’ve seen. If you own a fine artwork and you’re not using Revelite you’re not getting the most out of the work. I recall at a Plein Air competition and show they had an easel set up with Revelite. If a patron had an interest in a particular piece the artist would grab the painting off the wall, say “Follow me” and take the work over to be displayed with the benefit of the perfect Revelite. It showed the true colors and subtleties of the work and typically made the sale for the artist. That’s where I first saw this lighting system and I have since used it on all of the best pieces of my collection.

I use my Revelite to illuminate my easel. The light is color balanced and helps me get values and tones correct.

I love the lighting for art. Colors become sharper more of what the artist or photographers intended. If I could afford more I’d buy an additional three

Great company - attentive and timely on requests.
