ReveliteReviews of revelite.com

The product itself is well made and designed, easy to install. I did need to adjust the light level, but that was because of the painting and color. The movement could have been easier, but I was able to do.

Overall, this is a very high quality light. Relatively easy to install, once you accept that you have to put 6 different screws into the frame of a pretty costly piece of art. The dimmer works great, and the light is very clean and really brings the painting to life. My only complaint would be that honestly this is a very expensive light. If your artwork is truly worthy of the lofty price, go for it, but it is a lot to spend. It does look great, very unobtrusive, tho I wish the electrical connecting wire were white instead of black. Minor issue!

товар неплохой, пришёл быстро

Very happy with the light. For the installation, I recommend you suggest to customers to make an in wall box between the 2x4's (14" by 12" for example, like the recess in a tiled shower for shampoo), mount a new electrical outlet in the box to supply power and also place the power supply brick in the box. The advantage to this approach is the picture can be easily hung on the wall flat without anything bulky behind it. I wish I had thought of this approach before starting. My evaluation would be 5 stars with that instruction.

Good in that it's the only one I could find with 2 strips of light (why I chose it). Only suggestion is that they should ask the frame width in the setup (easy to add). Want them to adjust lights, not me. It is a modest challenge to install (I'm pretty handy) in that I had to screw boards into the back of the painting frame to build a platform on which to attach the item. If you're not handy, you'll need to seek help (a framing shop should be able to do it). Lastly, you will need to install a plug behind the painting as the cord is not intended to plug in below (nor do you want it to). A lot of trouble, but the effect is nice. Just have 2 toasts to the effect... :)

Less interested in the shopping experience than the install and final experience with the product. Standby Looks to be high quality.

The light produces is clean and white. My only problem is the size of the converter which needs to be hidden behind the picture. I have had my electrician find a 5"x6" rated electrical box to put the converter and cord in. It will only become an issue if I want to move the painting!

I purchased several of Cerno's top of the line Revelite direct wire mount art lights in a custom size for fine art in my home. They were professionally installed. The quality of the light coming off the fixture was perfect for about 8 months, and then started degrading to a pink color. It was plainly obvious that a black antireflective strip within the fixture was melting away and revealing a pink backing that bounced pink light back on the artwork. **Updated review** The company is standing by their product and giving me repair materials. I have updated my review from two stars to four stars because of such good customer service.
