I ordered a retainer over 2 weeks ago and still not received it! Been talking to a nice lady over email but she hasn't got much idea of what's happening with it.

I was hoping to avoid the cost of getting new retainers done professionally but there's a reason they are able to charge that much. I struggled to make the impressions myself and even with the test putty it took multiple tries. I did a top and bottom and they said the bottom was too distorted to even try to make a retainer. So I paid more money for more putty and a new tray.they said my top one was "excellent" but it literally didn't fit at all, it was too tight in some spots, not secure to my back teeth and messed up my bite. So I didn't even bother with trying to make a new bottom impression and just sent the one retainer back and I am waiting on a refund. Overall I'm disappointed but at least their customer service was good.

These retainers are the same quality as the orthodontist, at a fraction of the cost. You have to follow the directions to get an accurate impression but overall if you needed to reorder another impression it’s worth every penny!! Thank you for your great customer service during this pandemic...

Lifesaver during covid. I tried retainerdirect after struggling with the proprietary impression trays from sportingsmiles. I wish I used this company first and save myself all that time and trouble but at least I got a lot of practice taking impressions from that other company. The retainers I got were nearly perfect. I just had to carefully trim down a couple areas that pushed my gum too much ( my gums looked white) with scissors and a nail file and now it’s very comfortable.
