Firstly I like to say that Alex from Resume Profs was very pushy about getting me to work with them. I was contacted at least 3-4 times a day until I paid for a service. I needed a cover letter, resume and linked-in profile uplift. This was my package. After my resume and cover letter was done, which I was satisfied with, Steve kept suggesting that I do a review for them. I was hesitant at first because all the services I paid for wasn't complete. I gave in and gave them a very nice review. I had to contact them twice to began optimizing my linked-in account. Once it was done, they didn't update it much other than changing my about and adding my new job. They didn't change or re-word my heading and they have all my job locations incorrect. It is not what is on my resume that they did. I don't know what happened, but I just turned 2 of my colleagues away from their service. They are not trust worthy and efficient in my opinion. Their follow thru is unprofessional. It's been over 2 weeks and I can't even debut my new position until I take the time to go in and fix it. But I paid Resume Profs to do this for me. Never again!

Awful, a tremendous waste of money. The first resume and cover letter had sentences that did even make sense. They got me a different writer, better but not even worth my time to revise and finish. Get examples from Indeed and do it yourself.

I did not have a good experience working with resume profs. They claim to have a quick turnaround but it took two weeks for me to receive the first draft of my resume. The resume had typos and errors as well as sentences that didn't make sense. I decided to just use my original resume then work with them anymore. I requested to get a refund as they offer a 100% money back guarantee. This is where the process got very shady. I got bounced around to 5 different people asking why I wanted my refund and then finally the last person I spoke to said they would honor it and send me an email confirmation. The email never came so I decided to call back. Now they said they would not offer me a refund as I had approved the resume. This of course was a lie as I had only received my first draft. Again I had to go through the same process getting bounced around to multiple people. They said they would have to review my case and call me back, resulting in me never getting a call back. So I had to call back again to which they said they would offer me half my money back and I said that was unacceptable. I was fed up so I said if I don"t get my refund I would report them as fraud to my bank and contact the FTC. Two minutes later I received an email stating that I would be getting a full refund. Its been two weeks now and I still have not received my refund. This company is a total scam, save yourself the headache and go with someone else.

This is an update of my 9/4 review. When these people screw up it’s colossal. After my review was seen and I demanded a refund via the chat and email, I got a call promising me they would fix everything and I’d be happy or they would refund me. It took a month to get here (supposedly done)after the initial 2+ months it took to get my resume to me. It’s now 10/6 and I’m definitely not happy. I still had to constantly chase them to get revisions and updates. I had to fix mistakes on my own. They always apologize for the convenience, but try to blame you for the issues. The resume isn’t the best and my LinkedIn could have been done by a kid. I I wasted so much time arguing and trying to get these people to do what they should, and I just got tired of it. I will eventually go with someone else to get this all done properly. Right now, I don’t have the energy.

Their website clearly states RAPID turnaround. This is FAR from the truth. After complaint after complaint I finally get a draft that is riddled with punctuation and spelling errors. FINAL still had all of these issues. It is clear they are "cutting and pasting" information as the entire resume had different size text.

I paid $239 for a professionally written resume in May 2020, I have sent several emails asking for the finished product without any response, I opened a dispute on their website with no response, they basically stole my money

It's very unprofessional. You're going to be pissed off! They don't give you professional advice, on resumes, on Cover Letter, even on LinkedIn. ·I think it's easy to make mistakes in one hour. They need 24 hours. OK, it's OK. But the modification received is still wrong. Won't they check it? I pointed out the same mistake again, and they won't apologize to you. It also took a long time to modify very small things. I don't give you anything to say you're ready! (3) My personal expertise has not been updated. All three of the above do not match my resume! What are they doing? The videos on the web are even more professional than they are. What's wrong with that?!!! As a result, I would definitely need to re-do by myself ________ So I summarize several reasons not to recommend them, the speed is very slow, you do not urge them, they will not submit your manuscript. They won't give you professional advice, so you'd better revise better, or tell them clearly what you want. (3) Your works, will give you the cycle to drag a long time, so if you want to get the document soon? I mean, you probably already have a resume that doesn't need a lot of work.

My entire experience was not professional. I was told multiple times that I was going to get a revision or that my project drafts will be sent. I went almost 2 weeks at one point waiting for any update at all on the portal. The communication was not good. In addition, I did not like any of the templates (which was fine) so I provided a purchased template that I was told can be used. It got "lost" twice and my final draft was on a random template I never chose. When I asked if they had my resume template I provided they said they did. 'Then why didn't it get used?' Lastly, now that I have what is considered the "final product" I compared it to my previous resume and all of my job descriptions are word for word what I had already written. The whole point of hiring a professional service is to improve my previous one (not copy it) and to shorten it. Neither happened. I am highly unsatisfied and requested my money back so I can start this whole process again, elsewhere.
