Republic Trash acquired the disposal service I had for 8 years. The price Republic charged nearly doubled in 3 years from $129 a quarter to $241 a quarter. They left my trash cans strewn on the ground. A new company Patriot Disposal became available in my area, same service $102 a quarter- I signed up. I had paid Republic 3 months in advance and when I asked for a refund after my final pick up in 11/2, they said they would only refund 2 months plus charge $75 to pick up my bins. It has now been 6 weeks (12/20) and I still have not received any refund. Horrible company.

The company doubled our rate and when we asked about it they said that’s to bad, this is your new rate. Next they said they would charge $37 dollars to pick up our can. They never gave a date for pick up but the can was at the side of the house and easy to access. They then called and said we owed them money and we needed to pay. After talking to them, they then said the cost for can pick up went up to $41 dollars and they had a picture of or can next to the house. Unbelievable, sign me up for the class action lawsuit…..

This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They will routinely skip your weekly pickup without notification - sometimes for several weeks. When you call customer service they have no idea of reason why or when they will pick up. They will even lie and say your container was not placed for pickup. They practically laugh in your face if you suggest they should credit your account for the skipped pickups. They also raise their fees substantially and don't notify you of the increase until several days before your contract expires. When you call to cancel - THEN they want to negotiate their fee. I will NEVER use this company ever again.

Republic hit my mailbox and refuses to honor the claim. Cally W. Is the claim attendant and didn’t even entertain my side. Just kept saying no , even before I told the story. I offered pics, neighbor testimony, driver was in the area at the time, I spoke with driver and saw how the truck works and submitted video. Their other driver even helped process the original claim and took pics too. All to no avail. There were no tracks in the grass, that a car would’ve left, only the arm of the truck could have caused this. i found her stubborn and uncaring and slow to act. I’m elderly she had 0 compassion. Ironically our taxes pay for the repair and their salaries, it doesn’t even come out of their pocket ultimately..Im only asking for $169 actual replacement cost, and 2 man hours to install a new box..which I think is reasonable. They’re just being mean and rude.No customer service skills. No wonder they have so many 1⭐️

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I cancelled the service 10 months ago. They keep sending invoices and my so-called account manager, Kylan, does not manage my account. This is a joke. I call them every other day and I am transferred every time. I never wished a company went out of business until now.

Have used Republic Services for at least 10 years and am fed up. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Another missed pickup and it appears that no one on my street had pickup as their trash barrels are still there with their lids on. Each time a pickup is missed, I call the local office. The customer service reps are unfailingly polite and state they will put in a request for pickup however not once has my trash been picked up until the next scheduled pickup day. Now I have no room for additional trash and next scheduled pickup is not until the end of the week. About a month ago all trash except mine was picked up on our road. It had been put out the night before and of course they did not come out (once again) when the customer service rep said they would (I don’t blame the service reps). Might as well add that we bought 2 new heavy-duty barrels last year with attached lids to keep out the wildlife that abound here. One lid was found in the middle of our little-used road, unusable because it was run over. Approximately a month and a half ago the lid was totally missing from the second barrel after their pickup. Cannot recommend this company. Update: they did come today and pick up our trash which is a first for us but appreciated.

If I could give them zero stars I would it’s been month after month of constant nickel and diming trying to get us to pay for fees when we actually had this summer on hold got a $6.59 anonymous charge and then today I got another $35 bogus charge How can I be like I’m tired of your representatives constantly not being able to get it right we are done with Republic services. Come pick up your trashcan like I told you to. We are done with you. Terrible service. Cindy has a TERRIBLE attitude problem!!! Stop trying to sneak fees!! we don’t need you we have a county dump. We should’ve done that from the beginning instead of using obviously saying now really bad reviews so it’s not us it’s you.!!

Horrible service.... wishing we had another option and have reached out to surrounding providers to see if we can convince them to come into our area. Multiple instances of Republic Services not picking up as scheduled. Having to go weeks without pickup. Trash piling up and animals tearing it up all over the yard. Calling in to report missed service is a joke... you get a call center that has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA whats going on and just tells you they will make sure it is rescheduled for the next day... and... surprise surprise... no one picks up the next day.
