⚠️ WARNING: UNRELIABLE SERVICE – DO NOT RECOMMEND REPUBLIC SERVICES For the past several collections, Republic Services has failed to pick up our trash despite us placing the bin out the night before with the trash pin clearly visible. The driver intentionally skipped our property while picking up our neighbors' trash on the exact same route. This is NOT an isolated incident – it has happened repeatedly, and every time I report it, I receive empty promises that an "operations supervisor" will contact me. To date, no one has called back. If you cannot provide basic, consistent service, what are we paying for? Republic Services charges premium rates but delivers substandard performance with zero accountability.

Republic Services of Greensboro is absolutely the most unreliable, subpar, unorganized, unpredictable, lousy customer service oriented company I have ever experienced. I would rather haul my trash to the dump myself than to depend on this company for trash and recyclable pick up service. They obviously cannot manage staff, schedules or customer service, as they more than suck at all of these. I am going to start a petition to end the business relationship they now have for the county. If you create a service agreement with an entity and they fail to deliver it, then you have the right to end the contract. Republic Services - YOU SUCK! You don't even deserve one star.

driver broke my trash bin after 2-3 pickups. they charged $35 fee to cancel services. worst experience with a trash company.

This company does not offer recycling in my area. As a result I was taking it to the dump. It was a total waste of money to pay them to pick up trash when I was going to the dump already once per week. When I terminated the contract, they charged me $78 to pick up their trash can, a location they drive by regularly. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Absolutely terrible company to work with. They don’t secure their trash and although they know they damage vehicles with debris blowing out they will not assume liability.

worst service ever they don't care about customers many missed pick ups lied about coming back , long phone holds

This trash service is one of the worst service in 4ecent past. Frequest change inthe pick days and miss pickup is becoming norm for Republic trash. Their on call representative is not helpful and most of the time igore the customer request and also failed to understand the issues. I wish I could have given the ZERO star.

They TRIPLED MY RATES without letting us know. They charged us a $75 "fuel recovery" fee without letting us know. When I tried to remove auto-pay, it wouldn't let me. When I tried to remove my CC, it wouldn't let me. When I tried to cancel my service, I was ushered to a sales queue where they offered me a supposed better rate, which was TWICE AS MUCH as the local competition. (If they could give me a lower rate, why did they increase my rates?) Save yourself time and money; don't use this service.
