That should have been my first step, research. Replacement Lens Express has more BBB complaints than all other like businesses combined. All of those complaints mirror my experience. They immediately processed my payment, even before I specified what frames would be used. They gave no updates as to order status until I requested them. They stalled twice, claiming the glasses "did not pass Quality Control". It took 30 days to finally receive the finished product, far from the 3 to 4 days the website claims. I believe it would have taken much longer if I hadn't emailed them weekly. The glasses I received were well built and as ordered, I'll give them that. Whether $260 for a set of plastic lenses is a good deal or not I can't say but it does seem like a lot to pay for 30 days worth of waiting and nagging.
