We loved staying in the apartment. It was very spacious and centrally located to the metro as well as within walking distance to the Champ Elysee. I did recommend that they consider updating some of the items in the apartment but that would not stop me from staying there again. It made the whole Paris experience enjoyable and we looked forward to coming home there every night after a day of touring.

I was looking for an exceptional villa near Florence that would sleep 13 people comfortably as they were to be our guests at our wedding . Sounds easy peasy doesn't it? Not so......I trawled dozens of websites all claiming to be the bees knees but it was only when I came across Rentvillas did I find what I was looking for. Booking was a doddle, everything was very straightforward and I was given a charmingly helpful personal advisor (Nicole) who was on hand to answer any questions and queries I had. I settled on a beautiful villa called Casa Rufina situated about 40 minutes away from Florence nestled in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Eventually the day arrived when my Fiancée and I arrived in Italy for our marriage and we spent 3 idyllic days by ourselves in our villa before our guests arrived. On first sight of the villa I honestly felt so emotional I could've cried. It was beautiful and the setting was like something out of a fairy tale. I have seen pictures of Italy and the stunning scenery but to stand in it surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and just the sound of wild birds was breath taking. Rentvillas had come up trumps! Everything they claimed on their website was totally accurate, it was perfect and true to the pictures. I could go on and on about how lovely our entire stay was but I guess the only way to reaallly understand what I'm trying to convey is to go for yourself. Everything about our stay was lovely, the accommodation was fantastic and well worth the money we paid for it. All rooms were beautifully decorated and superby equipped. Without exception our entire party agreed it was a fabulous villa and the location was outstanding. The service provided by both the staff at Rentvillas and the villas owners was top class. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was tip top! Believe it or not I have never written a review for anything before but on this occasion I feel compelled and privalidged to be able to spread the word. I will DEFINATELY be booking through Rentvillas again and would recommend everyone thinking of holidaying in Italy to take a look at their website and do the same. I have been renting through Rent-Villas for about 5 years and have never been disappointed. You get what you pay for. If you want to save money you can get a small simple place. If you want to go luxury you can rent a castle. The reviews are spot on too. They provide excellent support and info about the surrounding area.

The 10 of us on this trip have traveled to Europe between 10 and 25 times. We have stayed in a wide variety of accommodations in many different countries. The service provided by Rentvillas.com exceeded our highest expectations. Not only was the information they provided accurate and timely, their staff was always available when I needed any clarifications.

We have used rentvillas three times so far to arrange house rentals in Italy (different places each time), and we have had very good luck with their services. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that on one rental we had to prompt them for the rental agreement which we hadn't received prior to our trip. Other wise, the properties they arrange are exactly as advertised, have all been very well maintained, in good locations, and we have had zero problems with the transactions once we have gotten to Italy. We expect to use them in the future for arranging vacation stays in Europe.

The villa in Levanto was a dream come true. It is a large farmhouse that has been simply and carefully updated and easily accommodated our party of 10. Exquisite views from almost every window, numerous outdoor spaces for dining, sunbathing and reading, a gigantic front veranda overlooking the sea complete with sun sail and huge iron table--there are so many stand out items about this house! The house is very private and quiet--accessible by car and also by a challenging walk up/down the hill. The town of Levanto was a joy as well. Restaurants, cafes, gelato shops and specialty shops offer delectable treats. There was more to discover but we ran out of time! Great launching point to visit Cinque Terre or just to sit and soak in the fragrances of orange blossom and mimosa.

Nicole was very helpful in providing information and asking the villa owner questions on our behalf. I felt comforted in being able to ask questions, knowing that Rentvillas is in the United States and can understand my inquiries without a language barrier. The Rentvillas property description was fairly accurate (walk to town is a bit of a stretch...but the bus line is close) and the booking process was easy. I didn't realize that some of my questions would be answered in our voucher packet, and since that did not arrive until closer to my trip, I sent a few emails to Nicole at Rentvillas. If the information in the voucher packet had arrived sooner, it would have been helpful.

I highly recommend RentVillas.com. From when I booked an apartment for our family in Florence to our arrival and through to checkout, the company was responsive and seemed intent on ensuring our trip was anxiety free. While it is hard to capture a space online sometimes, the photos were accurate and the rooftop view we enjoyed was even better than I'd hoped. Our check-in experience was hassle-free, and the apartment came with unexpected amenities, including little hotel touches like shampoo/conditioner in the modern shower to daily maid service. The entire process and stay was virtually effortless, and the apartment felt like home away from home. The reviews from former visitors on their website are unfiltered and proved very helpful in narrowing down our options, as they provide helpful tips on the surrounding neighborhood, any issues with the property, etc. Our travel advisor checked on us before the trip, and we were provided a helpful packet explaining the whole process and containing Italy-specific travel tips as well. This is the way to go if you want something besides the same old hotel experience in Europe.
