The villa was spacious, welcoming, comfortable and relaxing; all with a magnificent view, an immaculate pool area and beautiful gardens. It was extremely close to the coop, bakery, shops and restaurants. The owners were on-site but we did not see them unless we knocked on their door to ask a question. They arranged a truly wonderful wine tasting for our group at a very close winery on very short notice - an amazing experience. We took day trips to Florence, Siena and several other major cities were within a short drive. Every city was wonderful and amazing but our two days not leaving the villa were our favorite times. We enjoyed wine while relaxing at the pool and cooking dinner. A truly amazing family experience.

Our experience with rentvillas.com was wonderful. The description of the property we rented in Italy was accurate. Charges were clear and explained thoroughly before our trip. The local representative knew the area well and was available when we had questions. Thanks to their excellent website and great customer service, a group of my cousins and our spouses had an unforgettable visit to Tuscany in June 2014. With detailed (and accurate) descriptions of properties, Rentvillas made it possible for us to find the perfect place to stay. They were then very good on follow-up as well. When we had an overflow of two people beyond what the villa could handle, they helped us work out an arrangement with the owner for extra rooms on the property. Like a few companies out there, Rentvillas gives you the impression that they really care about helping people, and that they enjoy knowing they've done a good job. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a visit abroad.

I looked at many similar companies and found that RentVillas had the best selection of properties. Every contact I had with RentVillas was friendly, professional and productive. They put me in contact with owner of the villa so I could arrange meals; they also connected with a gentleman who provided all the details we needed for several wonderful day trips. The owner of the villa we rented told me that RentVillas has very high standards for their property and the professionalism used in interacting with the guests. I will use RentVillas anytime I want to rent a property in Europe.

We couldnt be happier with our holiday and all the arrangements which were made by Rentvillas. The house itself (located at Crete) was an absolute dream, even better than we imagined. We went a big group of 12 people and everything ran smoothly. Big thumbs up to Rentvillas who was so co-operate, serviceminded and helpful, all the way! Will for sure use their services in the future again.

I have been all over Italy since I was 16, but never made it to Tuscany. Came to America to play calcio (soccer) and married an American girl. Her family wanted to go to Portofino and Tuscany so being from the 'old country' I thought I should find them the perfect spot. That small town feel, while on your own property, chatting with locals that sit outside their establishment in town, getting fresh ingredients for your Italian meal, drinking the local wine (I could go on and on, you get the picture). Here is the review of the property, it makes me want to go back reading it again..... Overall: A 10! Upon arrival you go through these huge gates and drive down a pine tree flanked road up to the main building/reception. The farm house for 4 would be next to a larger building, and you have your own pool, washer dryer, full kitchen and incredible view of Tuscan hills with towns in the distance. Enjoyed Most: The farm house. The reception building and the main building were so impressive that I had to temper expectations regarding the farm house to my party. We drove up the hill behind Francesca to our place, and the house was as impressive! All of us were blown away, and I'm FROM Europe. (the rest of the party was American). There was a free bottle of olive oil in the kitchen for us to enjoy. Another couple had a free bottle of wine instead of olive oil. Enjoyed Least: I'd love to give constructive criticism but I cannot imagine what they could have done to make it better. If anything, you may want to put more pictures on your site for I had some questions prior to picking this property (Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, washer and dryer are below the property (2 washers, 1 dryer). Surrounding Area: Went on a jog around the property, which was nice (2.2 miles). The highway is right next to the property, so 20 minutes west there is a split road that will bring you south to Siena and every other town. Nearby Events or Locales: Capanne, yes you could walk it. Tips or Restaurants: European washers and dryers are smaller, and will take a couple of hours to finish one load. So bring your detergent and patience. If you drive 3 miles north of the property (from the main roundabout) you'll find the COOP, their grocery store where you can buy everything. We also drove to Capanne (1 mile) to find a pizza place, after asking in a local cafeteria they pointed us a couple of blocks over where there was a pizza sign hanging outside the window. There you can buy your pizza, take it home, and meet all the locals. This town is quite small so you cannot miss it, great pizza. Directions: We did not use a GPS, there is a sign from the highway that reads Montopoli Val d'Arno and you can only go 1 way. Your directions were great. Check In Out: We felt welcome immediately, and called 2 hours ahead of arrival to let Francesca know we were coming. After we enjoyed the wine tasting, Francesca gave us back our cash deposit, even though we did not check out till the next day.

In addition to the mechanic of renting in a foreign country Sarah gave in various tips on making our trip more comfortable. She did a very fine job communication with the chef as to our needs and negotiated a fair price.

The Villa provided our family of 19 a wonderful facility to enjoy while exploring the Tuscan region .More than enough space in this very unique restored Historic home and surrounding community. Located in the town of Capolona a short drive or train ride to Arezzo or hour train to Florence. Local restaurants provided our family with regional delicacies of truffle pastas and cheeses, pastas with wild boar . The wine was both exception and abundant. In the afternoons , after our walks, tours, and excursions, we relaxed in the pool under the shade of a 200+ year apricot tree with my children and grandchildren playing soccer on the spacious grounds. Bellisimo !!
