PRP Successful Recovery for Shoulder Tear
After suffering a serious tear to my shoulder tendon structure as a result of a bicycle crash, Dr. Hyzy performed PRP that greatly enhance the healing and recovery time and process. The recovery period was rough
The recovery period was rough, because I could not take ibuprofen during that time, which made my arthritis hard to tolerate. However, with physical therapy, my symptoms of tendonitis have greatly improved.

I am so pleased I had both knees done…
I am so pleased I had both knees done with regenexx australia a year ago. I am 48, very active, and have had osteoarthritis for several years. This meant I could not train effectively and muscles had wasted away or compensated and my left knee was painful most of the time. In hindsight I wish I had done this a couple of years earlier and other weak areas of my body wouldn't have hindered my strengthening. The result has been wonderful. I cannot stress enough how important it is to do the recovery and strength work after the procedure but it is so worth it. This treatment was actually recommended to me by a muscular skeletal doctor in the uk who had actually had the regenexx procedure done on his own knee in belgium so you can't ask for more than that. I would highly recommend stem cell therapy and if you have enough cartilage then this is a no brainer over knee replacements. Ingrid

I had a bad knee
I had a bad knee, bone on bone, and the stem cells and platelets literally took all the pain away. (after being healed) I am 66 and started to jog again.

Marginal results
The staff is professional and attentive. It was a good treatment experience, but, ultimately, the results were marginal for stem cell treatments in both knees and one foot, and PRP treatments in my lower back. Osteoarthritis symptoms are as acute as ever in my knees 10 months after treatment. The physician wanted to pursue more treatments, but I’d already spent $12,000 with incremental results.
