Be aware that this company can’t be…
Be aware that this company can’t be trusted. If there were an option to give 0 stars to this company, I would! I was lured to their Houston Clinic by a Facebook ad for a clinic testing. Then I had a bad experience at the Houston Clinic of Re: Cognition Health. The manager of that clinic is unethical and unprofessional. On my appointment day, the only staff member present is a clinical research coordinator (CRC). My total appointment time there lasted 3.5 hours, abnormally long! The CRC first wanted to take my blood sample from my left arm. She failed. After 45 minutes, she came back and tried on my right arm. She failed again. It turned out that, based on her LinkedIn profile, this CRC was hired less than two months ago and had no prior blood-drawing experience. I cannot understand why the office manager placed her as the sole operator of the clinic and allowed her to perform an invasive procedure. This was an inappropriate and irresponsible use of an inexperienced employee, and we, as patients, suffered the consequences. Besides, the overall Glassdoor review score on Re:Cognition Health’s US locations is 2.7, substantially below the average. Here is my conclusion: unhappy patients (like me) and employees are a result of unethical management of this company.
