RangeReviews of range.com

Range is a complete guide to my financial success. I feel confident in their approach.

Kevin was great to explain my retirement recommendations. Seemed very knowledgeable and spent extra time with me.

Need to check your Range account on a regular basis. It does not always show accurate/updated information. Seems to be technical issues with aggregators and updates with financial institutions. Range does not check for these things; you need to notify them of discrepancies.

The planning team at Range has always met me where I am with steady, data-backed guidance. Always available to address any questions that I have, no matter how big or small. Would highly recommend them to anyone considering a tech-forward, fee-only advisor.

I recently started with Range and found the initial experience very positive. I was looking for a flat fee CFP and the ability to do a little DIY planning. The experience so far has been great with very quick responsiveness to my questions, often within 24 hours, and ability to have calls with a live CFP to work thru any specifics. And love the holistic planning across investment, retirement, education and tax strategies. I also found the platform to be very easy to use and informative. And Rai, the AI agent, has been a great added bonus to allow me to ask questions, bounce off ideas or have it run some analysis to give me some ideas for follow-up with a human CFP. It has given me very compelling reasons to move away from using my current AUM financial advisor.

I had my onboarding meeting and the person I met with seemed knowledgeable and competent.

so far the melding of AI with Human has been working. I wondered if it would be hard to reach a human with AI being so central, but I've had equal contact and don't feel I'm being neglected. And AI is giving me immediate feedback that's been helpful even when it identifies, I need a final answer from a human.

Not remotely worth the cost. I signed up for Range because I wanted actual financial guidance and responsive access to advisors. Instead, I spent months just trying to get properly onboarded. Support routinely takes 24+ hours to respond. When someone finally replies, I often get a one-line answer that doesn’t address the basic questions I asked – which starts another 24+ hour cycle. There seems to be no reliable way to reach someone who will actually take ownership of an issue. Once you’re finally live, the primary value I’ve experienced is the dashboard. It’s a nice dashboard, but nowhere close to enough to justify the price. Range markets access to financial professionals and comprehensive wealth management; my experience has been overwhelmingly software with very little meaningful advice or service behind it. For what this costs, the level of service is astonishingly poor. Unless something changes dramatically, I cannot recommend Range.
