Impossible to talk to a real person. My messages get answered by IA and don’t make sense. I requested an appointment/meeting multiple times and no luck…

Not even REMOTELY worth the cost
Not remotely worth the cost.
I signed up for Range because I wanted actual financial guidance and responsive access to advisors. Instead, I spent months just trying to get properly onboarded.
Support routinely takes 24+ hours to respond. When someone finally replies, I often get a one-line answer that doesn’t address the basic questions I asked – which starts another 24+ hour cycle. There seems to be no reliable way to reach someone who will actually take ownership of an issue.
Once you’re finally live, the primary value I’ve experienced is the dashboard. It’s a nice dashboard, but nowhere close to enough to justify the price. Range markets access to financial professionals and comprehensive wealth management; my experience has been overwhelmingly software with very little meaningful advice or service behind it.
For what this costs, the level of service is astonishingly poor. Unless something changes dramatically, I cannot recommend Range.

Smug condesinding advisors
Smug condesinding advisors, DMV like service with no personal intrest in clients and deadlines with no flexability.

Very bad so far
So far, we’ve unfortunately had a pretty abysmal experience. The tax filing system is very under-developed, which resulted in us missing the filing deadline and we still haven’t seen the proposed filing. Meanwhile, communication has been very slow and often very out of touch with what we need and even who we are (e.g. referring to my wife as my husband, and later as he/him despite repeated corrections and Range having a LOT of our personal information). Individual sessions / guidance has been decent, but for the price tag of the “full service”, I cannot recommend this product at all.

Delayed responses
Delayed responses, mistakes on estate documents, insufficient time spent on tax review and recommendation. Definitely a poor experience and way below expectations.

It’s impossible to get a timely…
It’s impossible to get a timely response and even less likely to get a response from a human. I understand part of the business model and platform requires the use of AI and was willing to give it a chance but I will not be renewing or recommending this service unless there is improvement in the human interaction protocol.
Response from RangeAug 3, 2026
Hi Brian, we're sorry your experience fell short. Every Inbox response you received came from a human on our team, and we aim to reply within one business day. Our team is also available to jump on a call for more detailed advisory reviews or account support. We've reached out directly and hope to connect.

Consumer Alert: Material Failure to Deliver Promised Advisory Services
Consumer Alert: Material Failure to Deliver Promised Advisory Services
Review Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
Subject: Software-driven automation masquerading as personalized wealth management.
As a corporate executive accustomed to evaluating service-level agreements and contractual performance, my experience with Range (range.com) represents a clear, material failure to deliver on core marketing and contractual promises.
If you are a high-earning professional looking for sophisticated, bespoke tax strategies and a dedicated fiduciary relationship, look elsewhere.
The Bait-and-Switch: From Advisor to Algorithm
Range markets itself as an all-in-one wealth management hub offering access to human specialists (CFPs and CPAs). The reality of the operational model is fundamentally different:
Vanishing Human Advisory: Prior to onboarding, the promise of human-led guidance is heavily emphasized. However, immediately upon execution of the membership agreement, the human "personal advisors" effectively vanish. Communication is funneled away from direct professional access and delayed by days.
Automated Outputs: The "customized financial plans" delivered are not bespoke advisory products. They are generic, software-generated automated templates that spit out standardized advice based on intake questionnaires. There is zero advanced strategic depth.
Fundamental Non-Performance on Core Services
For individuals with complex financial profiles, Range fails to execute the basic pillars of its high-tier subscriptions:
1 No Customized Tax Planning: Despite paying a premium for year-round tax optimization strategy, the platform relies on automated scripts rather than individualized CPA analysis.
2 Failure to File Taxes: Range completely failed to execute and file my taxes as promised—a critical, time-sensitive breach of their service obligations.
Unenforceable Refund Policies
When confronted with their failure to perform, their "Member Success" team attempts to hide behind boilerplate "no-refund" clauses in their Terms of Service, claiming that because their software generated generic PDF plans, they have "delivered value."
Legal Reality: A service provider cannot claim the protections of a contract's strict cancellation and refund limitations while simultaneously failing to perform the fundamental material obligations that justify the fee in the first place.
Final Verdict
Range operates more like a buggy, automated robo-advisor tool wrapped in slick marketing than a professional wealth management firm. They lock you into steep annual fees, replace human expertise with generic AI outputs, and go silent when it comes time to execute real-world deliverables like tax filings.
Avoid this platform. The operational model does not match the marketing representation, and the level of service is wholly inadequate for complex executive wealth planning.

worst experience
worst experience. The rudest sales person Dylan I had the unfortunate experience of booking a call with. Wish I had never booked a call. What a waste of time. I’ve never heard a sales person say 10minutes into the call he didn’t want to waste his time showing their product to me because I asked what kind of investment opportunities they have and how advanced their tax strategies are and it was clearly not impressive. He clearly needs to be doing something else with his life not sales
