i used railway for a while now and beside few drops once in a while it was kinda stable, yesterday without any notice my account got banned and my site went off i got pinged by my bot that tells me if the site is down so i went to email and i saw this: "This workspace is banned and cannot create resources or deploy. Reason: ToS Violation" tried to appeal beacuse i didnt know why i got this ban and also i mention i didnt done anything special and got this : "Your appeal will be reviewed by our team, and we aim to respond within 5-7 business days." 10 minutes later (not 5-7 days luckly) i got a reply but unfortunately i got this : "We've reviewed your appeal. This account was restricted for violating our Terms of Service, and your appeal doesn't give us grounds to lift it, so we're keeping the ban in place." tried to send railway team a message to understand what i did wrong so i wont do it again and what part of their tos i violated and got this in respond: "We aren't able to share the specifics of why a workspace was restricted, and nothing sent to this inbox changes the decision." 1 star service since they turned off my site without any notice and didnt explain why

Im afraid, it's just not all that. Repeated issues with github deployments, support is REALLy difficult and you know what it's REALLY expensive.

After reading through the comments on some of these reviews I’m a bit confused. I’ve never had an issue with railway and I’ve been part of the hobby plan for about 2 years now in order to host discord bots and Minecraft servers and it works perfectly for me. Never had any issues, servers are always running, easy to deploy and update servers, very simple setup and for the price is well worth it. It’s kept 2 of my discord bots online for months now with little to now outages or latency. Been connected to the Netherlands region and not had any issues and would recommend this hosting platform

Bad service. I payed for a 'hobbie' plan, and now it says that my trial has ended! Contacted 'support', just a dumb bot. I had my server there, so it not just ruined my experience, it ruined my income as well Time to go away.

Banned for an accidental chargeback — insane appeal process My account was banned over a chargeback that was made by mistake. My wife didn’t recognize the Railway charge and disputed it, not knowing it was a legitimate business expense. I appealed before I even saw the email explaining that the ban was related to a chargeback/fraud issue, so my appeal addressed the wrong reason. Once I found out what happened, I immediately explained that the charge was legitimate and that I was willing to pay it and correct the dispute. Their response? Appeal denied. Decision final. That is an insane appeal process. I’m not claiming fraud, refusing to pay, or trying to get out of a bill. I’m trying to correct an innocent mistake. Instead of giving me a way to fix it, Railway locked me out of my projects and a business application I’ve spent an enormous amount of time building. Companies need fraud protection. But there also needs to be a reasonable way for a legitimate customer to correct an accidental chargeback. “Appeal denied, final decision” without allowing the actual issue to be corrected is not a reasonable process. I just want Railway to let me correct the payment issue and give me access to my work.

Railway restricted my workspace, “Io Tradingview’s Projects,” and denied my appeal on 30 September 2026. On 1 October, support confirmed that it would not reactivate services, provide a database dump, grant read-only volume access, or offer another route to recover the data. The workspace contains business records and personal data. This inability to migrate is disrupting my business. I am requesting immediate preservation and either restoration or a secure export following appropriate identity and ownership verification. I will update this post when Railway provides a substantive response or recovery route.

I have been using Railway since 2022 and I had spent a considerable part of my last 8 months learning the platform from the ground up, from templates, to environment variables and all the way to the API, deployments, networking, databases, etc. I was working on a legit, open source project, namely the discovery of popular projects on GitHub, and the creation of valid Railway templates for these projects to be able to be deployed easier on Railway. I was going to create approximately 100 templates of popular open source projects. I took a lot of time on this as I really did enjoy Railway and wanted to learn its platform and getting some templates in there that would be useful. I was then banned from my account. I filed an appeal and detailed the project I was creating and how I would be using Railway. The appeal was rejected and Railway went on saying that the decision was final. This is what I find the most troublesome is I still don't know what I did wrong. I've questioned about any activity that caused the ban, such as API/GraphQL requests, CLI usage, template research, automated activity, etc, but haven't received any particular explanation. I understand that Railway has rules and the right to enforce them. When I have broken a rule I would like to find out what activity the rule was related to so I can learn about it and not do it again. Being banned for months for no clear explanation after months of learning and building about Railway has been very disappointing. I really enjoyed Railway and spent a lot of time getting to know about the platform. I hope Railway will communicate better with developers when their accounts are terminated, particularly if the developer is seeking to better understand what went wrong.

Booked my ticket then got the lift to the bridge level went through the barrier and was told no lift up here.so down the stairs to platform 5 I then see it is where I entered the station. I have a disability so up and down stairs is a problem. Maybe a good Idea would be to put a sign up near the entrance stating platform 5 ! Roll on nationisation
