No problems everything was great

My experience with Quontic was positive overall. I got the loan. The loan officer Kristina Kovacs was really great to work with. I understand that in my situation I don't qualify for a normal mortgage. Even though my credit is good but, because I am paying alimony, my debt load is too high. I have a great job and will easily be able to pay my monthly mortgage. So, I needed Quontic and am greatful that they gave me the loan. The hard part was underwrititng. They took forever. I mean forever. I almost gave up on getting a loan and almost bought an RV to live in. I'm not kidding. It is ridiculous how long underwriting took. They kept on wanting more and more documents and more and more money and raising the interest rate. I am now paying 7.5% interest. I put down about $49,000 on a $182,000 loan. Yep. Even if I defaulted on the loan they have that much money in their bank. Yes they do. At least I have a lot of equity in the home already. I paid a mortgage since about 1997, owning 2 prior homes. I'm a solid low risk homeowner, but because of our system in this country, the divorce penalty is huge. It's just the way it is and companies like Quontic provide a service for people like me. I'm glad they were there. Good luck and you have to be patient. I mean really patient.

Overall, the process to open the account was very simple. A bit of a hiccup on registering my user ID, but they fixed it very quickly. Received the ring sizing kit within a day of registration (highly recommend using this to size your ring). Ring arrived in a few days, along with my PIN mailer, and backup card. Overall I am very pleased with the ring. It works as promised and is much more convenient than paying with a card or phone at checkout. Rewards are nice too!

Love the idea of a ring that works as a debit card. It works great. I would have given a five star review but the app currently does not allow me to add an external account in which I could transfer funds into my Quontic account. Hopefully that changes soon. Overall, very happy with my account and functionality of the ring.

Opened account to try out the ring. Everything works great. Website is sparse and needs review by a good UX person, but overall I'm happy with the bank.

I am self-employed and was trying to apply for a mortgage loan. After getting in touch with few banks, I felt discouraged to proceed because they made the process very difficult. After seeing a commercial I found Quontic and for my surprise the initial contact was pleasantly easy. I felt welcomed as a costumer, had great staff taking care of my application, and didn't feel overwhelmed with endless requests for documentations. The process was smoother than I expected and I am very pleasant with the results.

Your customer service people are very good. Unfortunately, your banking policies do not meet my needs. A $2000 limit on daily transfers is insufficient for my needs. I am not interested in taking pictures of $5000 checks for deposit. I am seeking the ability to move sums of funds greater than this amount between accounts electronically. I should have read the fine print on my agreement. Your interest rate is great, but your banking requirements are poor. So, I am closing the account at the earliest possible date and moving on to another online bank. Good interest rates coupled with a limited funds transfer policy does not work for me.
