waste of time
I had the same experience as another reviewer. Spent all the time to set up an account, give them a lot of information and in the end got denied a CD account. Don't waste your time trying to open an account with them

Like others, I'm extremely nervous that Quontic has my personal data after declining the submission, no reason given. Despite my excellent credit, zero debt, high bank balances, the simple procedure of '3 mins to a CD' online failed 3 times. All my information was correct, the submission accepted, and 5 minutes later I had emails telling me I was declined but they were 'unable to provide any reason'. I called their customer service number, a helpful assistant told me she had no idea and 'you accepted the terms' (yes: read, understood, and all was fine) — and once declined this was forever! Never allowed to apply again. I complained via email, and 24 hours later received a 5th confirmation that repeated the 'declined and we're not telling you why' story. As this shockingly bizarre reaction to a simple account application with supporting documents is online and Quontic now has my personal data, I contacted my bank to flag the issue. My bank now has an escalated alert on my accounts for fraud, and any suspicious activity as a result of this very unusual decision. They were concerned for me as a long-time customer too. Bottom line: don't use them. If a company cannot be transparent — they don't deserve YOUR money.

Closed my account because I had a fraud case and I complained about the fraud process in comparison to other financial institutions. They still haven’t wired my money back to me.

As far as I know this was the only bank that required a two digit middle initial when filing out their application!!!

Initiated the "open an account" request. Never got the verification email (hit the resend button twice). I think they're phishing for personal info, and now, unfortunately they've got my full name, email and phone number. Stay away!

I had the same issue as the previous customers. I really doubt whether this bank is trying to collect people's sensitive information (SSN, name, DOB, address, contact info, external bank information, etc.). I submitted an online application for their CD, but my request was declined. They only sent me an email to notify me and give me a list of information that might be wrong so that their weird system was unable to verify me. No case number or application number was enclosed. I called their customer service line, but the staff was unable to do anything and couldn't even tell me which type of information the system thought was wrong. I am really worried about all the sensitive information I provided via their website.

Denied my application with the reason that they were unable to verify "some" or "any" of my information. Ridiculous.

I completely agree with Matt. In spite of having excellent credit, they sent a form stating 5 potential reasons why they were denying my request for service. I politely e-mailed back and requested for them to be more specific, so they sent the same e-mail back. I will gladly put my money in a company that appreciates my business.
