"Avoid this service at all costs. They impose exorbitant closing fees and numerous hidden charges that appear unexpectedly. Their conduct is entirely unprofessional; I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, not even an enemy. Furthermore, they failed to provide the final Closing Disclosure, and it appears they frequently rebrand their business every few years to escape their poor reputation and history of customer dissatisfaction. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. My personal experience has been disastrous. After an initial bad experience in 2020, they repeated their mistakes on February 11, 2026. On a cash-out refinance of $243,300, I was charged nearly $19,000 in closing costs, 9.75% interest including numerous inappropriate charges. In 2020, they charged me $89,000 in closing costs just to lower my interest rate from 3.15% to 2.75%, which included $19,000 in points. Worst of all, they misled me regarding Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI). I was told PMI would be removed once the home value rose by 20% or after 120 months. Instead, they placed me in an FHA loan rather than a 30-year conventional loan, resulting in a permanent PMI requirement that costs me an extra $600 every month. I feel terrible for having referred friends and family to them, as everyone has since complained about their unethical business practices. During the process, they had me sign at least ten different versions of the Closing Disclosure (CD). I trusted them, but I have since discovered that the final documents provided at the closing table do not match the ones they sold to the subsequent loan servicer. I am currently calculating the total financial damages and intend to pursue legal action. I strongly urge everyone to question the authenticity of their positive reviews. There office Adress: 2612 East 16th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11235 .Loan officer SHINE SHOWKAT senior loan officer was Victoria zeitoune. This has been a devastating experience." Everyone understand later how they conduct there business. Some time bad behave if you find there wrong & notice them. Please go to real BANK. Don't west your money & time. Thanks be aware!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. At Quontic, we take every customer concern seriously and always aim to provide a transparent, supportive, and well‑communicated lending experience. After carefully reviewing the details of this situation, we can confirm that all loan terms, costs, and disclosures were presented clearly and in accordance with federal lending guidelines. Throughout the process, our team provided multiple disclosures, updated loan estimates when required, and maintained consistent communication to ensure the borrower had a full understanding of both the rate options and the associated costs. The PMI issue referenced in your review relates to a previous FHA loan that was not originated by Quontic. For the second‑mortgage transaction originated with Quontic, the borrower received all required Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures, including updates related to appraisal results and loan structure. Our team worked diligently to secure the most competitive terms available based on program requirements, credit qualification, and market conditions. We also want to reaffirm that funding timelines followed standard procedures, including the federally mandated rescission period. Our team remained in communication on the day of funding to provide status updates and confirm delivery of funds. While we regret that the borrower feels dissatisfied, we stand by the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of the process. Our goal has always been and will continue to be, to help every customer make informed decisions and feel supported throughout their financial journey. If any customer ever has questions about their loan terms or disclosures, we encourage them to contact us directly so we can address and resolve matters promptly. Thank you again for the feedback. We remain committed to improving customer experiences and delivering trusted, responsible lending solutions.

Terrible experience with Shine Showkat, a mortgage broker with the company. My family and I had been working with him for sometime and my most recent experience with his unprofessionalism had truly left me speechless. During our last conversation, I asked Mr. Showkat for some clarifications and information to which he responded with anger, frustration, and yelling at me due to simple question and information I requested. "DONT TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB" were among his outrageous comments. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Besides this, he was a referral from a family member, to which my surprise after we had decided not to proceed with him due to his behavior, he had gone on to complain about our matter with the family member, again a reflection of his unprofessionalism. Please Quontic, look into this matter of unprofessionalism from your employees. Will not be recommending this company to anyone any time soon.

I have never received a debit card from Quontic after being informed that I would. My daughter, Amy Brunton, helped set up my account a couple of months ago and she received a debit card. I have money to transfer to the Quontic account from my Credit union and would like instructions on how to proceed with the transfer.

We appreciate your feedback and apologize that you didn't receive your debit card as expected. Our customer service team will reach out to provide you with the transfer instructions and to resolve the debit card issue.

Awful; I have perfect credit and lots of liquid assets. Was denied an application for a money market account with no reasons given. When contacting support they were no help, simply telling me to apply again in 6 months. I asked to delete my account and I would go elsewhere, they refused to comply and kept sending me the link to their terms and conditions I agreed to when I applied. I referred to the section that says I can revoke consent after application submission to retain/use any of my information. Round and round. This was all AFTER I had entered my full linked banking information from another institution, that they can retain for 5+ years! Seems like just a scheme to me.

Still unable to sign in to my account. I have $500 deposited in an account, wanted to add an additional $10500, but am unable to access my account. I think that at this point, I will simply work at getting my funds returned, but I don't know how to access my account. Ahhh, Catch-22. That's some catch that Catch-22.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! My husband and I applied for a home loan with Quontic Bank Jan. 2025. They began to piecemeal the documents that they needed. For example: They would ask for our homeowner's insurance, pay stubs, etc. The next month, they had a new list of requests. After a few months we were frustrated, wondering why they didn't request for everything at one time. They pulled our credit in Jan., March, & June. We provided EVERYTHING that they requested, and we were told that it looked good. We were led to believe that things were going well. We were clear to close. I checked my credit in June and saw that something was placed on my credit that I needed to dispute. My credit score dropped & my husband's credit score dropped some as well. Once that happened, we were all of sudden denied the loan. We feel that we were strung along for months with NO transparency. Our credit score was fine 6-months ago when the process started. Even one month ago. We are extremely upset and frustrated because we Know that it doesn't take any bank 6-months to complete a home loan process. We have wasted money, because we paid for 2-home appraisals. We have wasted time. By now, we could have gone to another banking institution and been done with this process.

I’ve had a savings and checking account with Quontic for several years, and after shopping around with a few lenders, I decided to get my mortgage through them. Of the three lenders I considered, Quontic offered the best rate — unfortunately, that rate was the only positive part of the experience. Working with Cory Graciano and the Quontic mortgage team was frustrating from start to finish. Closing was chaotic, with new, required reports being dropped on me less than a day before the scheduled closing. They asked me to pay for an appraisal, then later decided it wasn’t necessary — and only refunded a portion of the cost. I would strongly recommend avoiding Quontic if you're shopping for a mortgage. If you do go with them, make sure to clear your schedule the day before closing — you’ll likely be jumping through last-minute hoops.
