Tried to open a checking account and I was denied. Email said it could be "for a number of reasons" and to call customer service for more info. I called, her only advice was to use a different email address, or mix up lower case/capital letters in email I aready used and "try again" and it "might" work. Could not tell me the reason I was denied--they can't see--ridiculous. Blessing in disguise I suppose as I can only imagine how horrible my banking experience would be after this. As someone who has near perfect credit history & score, my only conclusion is that their system really sucks, or I am not the customer they are looking for and have been discriminated against. Update--post their reply--I checked my Chex--clean. At a loss.

After opening an online CD, I discover I can’t add my husband as co-owner, or add beneficiaries without printing out a form and mailing it. ????? Every other bank and federal government allows this all on line. A representative called me and said I could add beneficiaries on line, so I tried and it said mail it in!!!! An online bank, I think not.

If you wish to add a joint party after the account is established simply sign into your online banking and go to our Self Service tab, click on Forms and select Add joint owner. opened a CD and the fund has been transferred, three days past I still not get the account number yet, could not register online banking, with other banks I got the account number right away, this makes me trepidation.
