I traveled with Quark on their Antartica Express and East Greenland Fjords expeditions. Quark's team moved us along seamlessly and safely. The expedition team leader and guides are professionals with deep-rooted knowledge in the Arctic and Antarctica. They have lived and researched in these regions for many seasons. I listened to many lectures on history, climate, and geology. For the ultimate unique experience, one of our expedition guides is a native Greenlander! I was able to talk to her about life as a young Greenlander, social political situation between Greenland and Denmark, and dating. The hotel staff on the Ocean Explorer provided me 5 star service. They remembered my drink at breakfast and cocktail hour without me asking. The food was good, and the ship was kept pristine. I am looking forward to exploring with Quark's team again for expeditions like Svalbard, Patagonia, and Circumnavigate Iceland.

My expedition cruise was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I boarded the ship, every detail was handled with such care that I felt safe and truly valued. The boarding and disembarkation processes were seamless. The information provided made the journey feel exciting, and that we were all experiencing once in a lifetime moments. What stood out most was the exceptional staff - each staff member, whether it be the hospitality staff or the expedition crew went above and beyond to ensure every passenger had the best possible experience. Their warmth and attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm created a wonderful atmosphere of adventure. I felt very special as I received champagne upon boarding to celebrate my birthday and a cake and birthday song from the hospitality staff. Being a return passenger was also valued by the company. I am very grateful that I chose Quark for both my Antarctic and Arctic journeys - the most unforgettable trips of my life.

I joined Quark Expeditions’ Eastern Greenland trip, and it was absolutely perfect — everything was exactly at the level I was hoping for. The expedition team struck the ideal balance of professionalism and warmth. They were attentive, friendly, and deeply committed to both safety and creating the best possible experiences for guests. I was especially impressed when team members made the effort to share information in Mandarin and French during hikes and Zodiac cruises, ensuring that guests with limited English could fully enjoy and understand the activities. The lectures were another highlight — engaging, well-prepared, and tailored for travelers without a professional background, making the geology, wildlife, and landscapes come alive. Every excursion was memorable and well-executed. Onboard, the food and beverages were consistently excellent, with a dining experience that felt like casual fine dining: refined, high-quality service without ever being stiff or overwhelming. Cabins were spotless and comfortable, with attentive service that felt thoughtful rather than intrusive. I highly recommend Quark Expeditions for anyone whose top priority is authentic adventure but who still values a high-quality travel experience.

Best trip of my life! Ship and expedition staff were highly trained, flexible, responsive, professional and fun. The landscape, wildlife, excursions and educational sessions were unbelievable. The staff! Everyone on our ship was wonderful to be around. The Expedition team members were outstanding. We loved their presentations: always informative and often entertaining.

I really liked the new ship, the quality and variety of the food offerings, the onboard service we received and the excursions (both landings and zodiac tours). Communications of plans was always clear and understandable, and the presentations by the Subject Matter experts were outstanding. We were lucky enough to witness up-close some great animal sightings including; but not limited to, Polar Bears, Puffins, Walrus and Whales. We also loved the Icebergs in the Greenland Fjords. We travelled with Quark on the Antartica trip in 2024 and enjoyed it so much we booked this trip on-board that ship, and this experience with the Quark team was every bit as good.
