This was the trip of a lifetime and it lived up to everything and more than I expected. Let’s make it clear you’re going to the Arctic and things can change very rapidly, from the weather, the sea ice conditions and the fog. The expedition team made it very clear that we were at the mercy of the environment and promised nothing but did their best to make sure we got to see as much of the Arctic and all it holds. Polar bears, whales, seals, polar historical sites and much more. The ultramarine is a stunning ship but what makes it really special is the enthusiasm of the guides, the crew and all of the staff. Absolutely fantastic.
