It was a great experience. St. Pierre & Miquelon, Newfoundland & l'Anse aux Meadows were on my list. The helicopter over the fjords was very special &an important part of the trip! The staff, the crew & especially the Expedition crew were totally amazing! Everyone was personable, respectful & knowledgeable! Totally amazing experience! Thank you

The expedition team, and all other crew on Ultramarine were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable and passionate, while continuing to promote all safety procedures which enabled our excursion to proceed flawlessly.

We had a wonderful trip. Quark was amazing, the ship was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond in every way. I’m looking forward to scheduling another trip.

The right balance between outdoor and educational activities. The options enabling everyone-no matter their age and fitness condition - to participate. The food and the staff in charge. The permanent attention of cleaning staff to our cabins. The knowledge of the expedition team. And last but not least, a very professional, friendly and responsible expedition team leader Amalia.

Quark is very well organized and helpful, from the first inquiry until we stepped off the ship. The academic lectures were superb with very knowledgable personnel. Food was delicious and well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our 3rd trip with Quark. We keep coming back because the trips are so fun, educational and well organized.

When the weather didn't cooperate with Plan A, Quark pivoted to provide us with Plan B, that was as exciting, interesting as as fun as I imagine Plan A would have been. The speed with which they changed plans was quite astonishing! The experts on board gave informative presentations and were always willing to answer questions. Zodiac drivers were able to get us close to wildlife (polar bears!) while making sure we did not disturb or distress the animals.Hospitality crew was amazingly attentive to guests, our cabins and the meals.

100% recommend Quark Expeditions! Knowledgeable, friendly expedition team and a crew that goes all out for you every day! Expedition Leader Jake was a godsend - his ability to adapt on the fly and search out amazing opportunities along the way made my trip such a memorable experience. The ship (Ultramarine) is beautiful and just the right size. The team made sure we got to enjoy the zodiacs every change we could. The guests were organized fluidly and communication was always top notch. I don’t have a single complaint! Special kudos to Melissa and also to Ross, whose humour, presentation skills and historical knowledge went a long way in providing the best possible guest experience!

Flexibility in the face of adverse weather was remarkable. Staff did their utmost to ensure we maximized the number of expedition outings. Of course, he Ultramarine is a great ship and food was exceptional.
