The ship, the crew, expedition leader and guides were only eclipsed by the star of the show... Antarctica. The whole voyage was amazing, Sarah our leader scrapped our itinerary in favor of better weather/conditions and we spent 3 days south of the Antarctic Circle complete with continental landing when we were only scheduled to visit the Peninsula. Everyone worked seamlessly together like a well oiled machine and we were beyond happy with this experience, the expedition team were some of the friendliest, most interesting, stoked on adventure people we have met.

Quark expeditions are ready to switch through plans A through to F to get the best experience for their customers. The food aboard was of a high standard and both the hotel and expedition staff were welcoming and friendly. I’d go with them anytime

We had a wonderful trip to Antarctica. The staff and crew were fabulous. The food was delicious. We are vegetarian and 1 vegan and they had many options at each meal for us. They chef even went out of his way to make sure we were taken care by preparing special meals for us. The team has developed a smooth and very organized operation at every step. They kept us informed and aware of everything concerning the weather and our land and sea excursions. The lectures and recap/briefings were delightful. We enjoyed attending them daily. The staff is exceptional. Their enthusiasm and dedication plus willingness to share their knowledge made the voyage so meaningful.

Without a doubt, the trip of a lifetime for us! Everything about this trip was exceptional. The Ultramarine is an amazing luxury vessel and the crew were fantastic. SHout out to Sarah, our expeditional leader, who was amazing! As a result of the westher at the pennisula, she decided to have us cross the circle, even though that is not the itinerary we bought. Everything was magical, espeically being able to go through the gullet (it was OPEN!). Sophia, another crew member gave us the best New Year's Eve ever! The food was delicious (even for us vegetarians) and the service was top notch. WE did not want to get off the ship on the 12th day and felt like we were leaving our new home. We hope to go back one day and will definaitely be going with Quark on the Ultramarine. Hopefully we can get o Greenland one of these days as well.

Outstanding Teams: Expedition, Hotel & Hospitality and Ship’s crew. went further South than we expected, than THEY expected. our EL just kept pushing. every aspect of the expedition: Zodiac tours, Heli rides, paddles was good to great. wish we had had more Heli (we were not on the Landing, just the , and could've used one more paddle experience (only had 1).

Visiting the world’s last real wilderness was a real privilege. My expectations were high and every aspect of the trip exceeded them. We were lucky with exceptionally good weather but it’s important to have a flexible mindset as conditions in the region and therefore plans can change quickly. The ships crew were incredible and the guides generally very good.

Worth Every Penny!!! Everything about this trip was amazing. The boat and rooms are comfortable and spacious. The expedition staff are fun and knowledgeable. The staff on the ship really care about guests and are always willing to go the extra mile. And the daily expeditions were mind blowing and beautiful and amazing.

I was amazed with this cruise. We got out to explore twice each day which was more than I thought we would. We saw 3 different kind of penguins and there were a lot on these excursions. The expedition guides were very knowledgeable and helpful during the excursions and zodiac rides. Saw lots of sea lions and whales too. The recaps in the evenings were good to listen to as well as some of the presentations by the geologists and naturalists. I wished we could have camped out but you can't control the weather. Everything else was better than I could have imagined. I choose Quark through word of mouth from someone and I'm glad I did! Thanks to the entire crew for an unforgettable experience.
