Purebred KittiesReviews of purebredkitties.com

I can not say enough good things about Mari and Purebred Kitties. Naomi are kitten is absolutely perfect. We received her and she was the picture of health and so beautiful. Mari goes above and beyond throughout the whole adoption process. Naomi was supposed to be flown to us, but because the weather was to cold for her to fly Mari delivered her right to our door. I wouldn't hesitate to adopt another kitten from Mari. Thank you so much Mari for Naomi we love her so much.

Mari is absolutely wonderful to work with! She took the time to make sure we were getting the perfect kitten for our needs. Our Maine Coon has been an amazing addition to our family and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I have never owned a Sphynx cat before but she is perfect! The whole process was so smooth and they were very communicative. The best cat ever, for real!

I’m writing this review just under a month of getting my precious kitten. The process was absolutely smooth even with issues from my bank with payment Mari understood and even reserved my kitten for 2 days while I worked out the problems. She worked with me on form of payment and was understanding and communicative the entire way. The customer service was 100% OUTSTANDING. Let alone with the current crisis in Ukraine supporting this Ukrainian owned business was just a bonus even Mari would take part of the proceeds to support ukraine which made me feel even better about adopting benn. I’ve posted benn on Facebook groups and he’s gotten over 100 likes on a single post just goes to show everyone agrees in the beauty and quality of these kittens. Now onto my kitten, when I picked up benn he came with all of his paper work pet passport tests and all the only thing understandably delayed was his pedigree which I have in electronic form currently and will be receiving the physical copy shortly. Benn was just as described on the website his temperament was perfect and loving (definitely enjoys to play) I couldn’t be happier with this kitten he’s growing so fast and is already exceeding my expectations in size (if you’re looking for a XL maine coon this is the place to go) his vet checked everything before adoption and mine confirmed his negative status on all known feline contagions and diseases except one, feline herpes. After getting the explanation from my vet feline herpes is extremely common (more than 90% of cats have it) and the only symptom is some sneezes when he gets stressed out, so only for the first week after getting him he had the sniffles. It does not affect his long term lifespan nor affect him in any way long term other than a few sneezes. Over all I’m extremely happy with him I couldn’t recommend purebredkitties more if I could. I’m actually so absolutely pleased with the process the customer service and the kitten I have already under a month later reserved another Maine coon from Mari and I can’t wait to meet her I will update this review when I do thank you so much breeders of purebredkitties and Mari and I can’t wait for our future business together i couldn’t be more pleased.

I got a cat from purebred kittens in late January, everything about his personality was spot on, amazing temperament very playful and sweet. But unfortunately he has had a few health problems. His knees click which according to the two vets I took him to is very rare in a cat. I got him some X rays but because he’s still young they aren’t sure what’s causing this. It wouldn’t concern me except he can’t jump very high because of it, a dining room table is to tall for him. He also has respiratory issues, his vet thought it could have been an infection but after a few rounds of antibiotics it still hasn’t cleared and my cat still has breathing issues. As well as when I got him his teeth had a permanent gray stains on them, probably from a medicine but because of it he will need regular teeth cleaning when he is older to avoid them being pulled/ I didn’t bring anything up to the breeder because I wasn’t able to get him X rays until after the 48 hour period, and I know that there is a strict no refund policy. I know two people who have gotten a cat from pure breed kittens and they were perfectly fine, So you really roll the dice with them. I’m happy that I at least got a cat and that it isn’t a scam, just bumped that I’ve had to spend so much on X-rays and that I’m going to have to spend more.

I purchased two cats from this business. The reason there are three stars is because one of them only had ring worm which I treated and is otherwise healthy. I've talked to several people who also purchased cats from this business and we found one another through the internet. One of them had a perfectly healthy cat and the other one had an extremely sick Maine Coon that passed away. One of the cats that I got became extremely ill the day after I got it. He could not breath through his nose at all and had to be taken to the emergency vet and put on oxygen. About $1,500 later he was doing okay. A month later I picked him up and set him in his cat bed and he collapsed. I again rushed him to the emergency vet and it was found that he had severe brain swelling so I had to take him to a neurologist in richmond. They discovered that he had FIP $5,000 later. I was refunded the cost of the cat after providing proof of this illness. I am concerned about the conditions that these cats are kept in especially after reading all these other reviews. I'm not sure it is Mari, rather they come to her this way. She's essentially a cat broker. They come to her from breeders over seas and she sources them to homes. We can't know how the breeders are treating the cats though. Most businesses and places that sell these kinds of animals do home inspections and make sure that they will go to a place that will care for them. I was lucky I had a credit card with a sizable balance and I was able to Max it and save this cat from FIP. I say this just so if anybody gets one in the future there are cures. They are not FDA approved so you would have to do some digging for a Facebook group to find it and they will help you. I confirm what others have said about the vaccine records. They are in Russian or Ukrainian and have not been seen by American vets to my knowledge. This is because they come straight from the Ukraine when you order them and you get a cat that is likely being shipped with multiple other cats potentially getting sick and exposed to other pathogens. I'm assuming that's why he was sick the very next day I got him he likely picked up a viral infection. Since my purchase you now have to pay $385 for a FIP protection. I'm not sure how many other cats this has happened to. This is likely again due to breeding conditions where they are coming from. Looking at other reviews maybe I just had a bad luck. However, I think when they come from overseas they should be held on to for a couple weeks just to monitor their health and make sure that they are not sick. The FIP is no one's fault as most cats have it, mine happened to mutate. I was most upset that he was sick right next day.

Mari is awesome, she explains everything, make sure kitty is healthy and sends gifts for my little one. This is the best Cattery around . Thank you for my beautiful lil girl.

My experience with Maria was absolutely the best. From start to finish. Naomi is perfect and she is everything we wanted. Maria even went so far as to deliver her to my home because it was too cold to fly her. Pure Breed Kitties goes above and beyond for their adoption families. I would not hesitate to adopt another kitten from her. Thank you again Maria.
