They followed up in a timely manner and were professional with this review. They are working on the issue with travel details.
Not happy with the whole delivery aspect of it. They can't give you all the information on travel itinerary like how long it will take. My dog flew in, his flight got delayed an hour due to weather down south which is understandable, but my dog must have been at the airport since 7am, never got an update on when flight got in(was supposed to arrive 10AM originally). Also the dog was with like 34 or 35 other dogs being delivered and my dog was delivered at 8pm. How can a dog be put in those conditions? That is a 13 hour day for a dog. The guy that delivered him was sweet, but said they didn't give the dog a lot of food and there was nothing left when he got there. The whole delivery thing was an anxiety issue. Now for the guarantee part for a vet visit within 3 days l of arrival, I did tell puppy spot I couldn't get an earlier appt. for the vet due to vets are backed up, but they did get me in sooner (12 days after arrival) and my vet was puzzled by my dog because he was too shy and nervous. The vet believes he didn't have good living conditions prior and it worries me. I also had the dog trainer at my house 2 days ago and she was baffled too. I even brought the dog to the pet store and he was scared and confused and not really socially interactive with other dogs. so I am not sure if this dog was mistreated, sheltered too much, no idea but I am kinda worried about it. He doesn't seem to feel comfortable around others. I hope he opens up more because we are showing him lots of love and giving him the best care.

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever, I would never wish anyone going through this.
My puppy is not even 4 years old and he is not able to walk. He has a neurological degenerative disease, most certainly because he got a bad virus
before we got him (parvo/distemper). We realized something was wrong when he was 3 moths and let Puppyspot know about . They have done anything for him just ignoring the multiples emails and calls and no supporting him in any way. Very sad

We are saddened that Sara's puppy has developed the neurological issue mentioned in this review. As a community of dog lovers, we wish all families only the best of futures together. However, as with all living creatures, health issues can arise over time. The Terms and Conditions of Guarantee under which our puppies health issues are addressed,
as a requirement of continual residency of our puppies in the US or Canada. (https://www.puppyspot.com/terms-and-conditions-of-guarantee) Unfortunately, this puppy did reside overseas for a time and that invalidates coverage under our Health Guarantee. Prior to that travel, Ms de Miguel was able to receive support under our Health Guarantee for a case of giardia, from which her puppy recovered quite well. IT is only after the puppy resided outside of the US and Canada that we could no longer assist her with her puppy. We truly wish the best for Ms de Miguel and her puppy.

I absolutely recommend Puppy spot for anyone who loves a perfect pup!
I absolutely recommend Puppy spot for your next furry friend. they always did as they said they would, from my first call to our pups delivery to my door all was fantastic. Our little guy, who is a Berniedoodle, is so smart, very kind, and so willing to please and our vet of 15 years checked him out and he is perfect! So, no matter where you purchase your new friend things happen, not every puppy you purchase from a neighbor or someone who says they only have 1 litter- stuff happens. I am so incredibly happy with our little pup. Thank you Puppy Spot, Karen a REAL client.

An Absolute Mess
I wish it were possible to leave 0 stars. My experience with Puppy Spot was absolutely unbelievable. I decided to use the service against my better judgment because I had a friend who used them with positive results. My experience couldn't have been worse. Just say no and find a local breeder.
All started out great, with a very attentive sales manager calling, texting and emailing me with different puppies that were available. I spoke with him via phone, email and text and submitted my payment. I was told the next step would be when a puppy manager was assigned to my puppy and would reach out to me with more information. This never happened. The 2-week photo updates that are advertised all over the site never came on time, and I only received them after multiple requests. The updates never came from my "puppy manager" because I was never able to get a response through the app or on the phone. That's because the people you are talking to are not located in North America and were simply reading from a script. Frustrating to say the least. The only way I was able to get updates was through the sales person who initially sold me the dog.
Travel was scheduled and cancelled twice. I had to reach out to them both times after travel was cancelled because no one ever called me to explain what was going on. The first time, I was once again only able to get the sales person to respond to me. I was not able to speak with my supposed puppy manager. The second time the travel was cancelled, I was told that the puppy was too small to travel, even though the puppy was 12 weeks old and I was told regardless of size, the puppy could travel at 12 weeks. Both times that travel was cancelled due to the puppy's size, they didn't even have updated weights. They were using the weight from 2-3 weeks prior.
After the second cancellation, I asked for the imaginary puppy manager to call me ASAP. A random person who I'd never been in contact with called me. He couldn't answer any questions other than "the puppy is too small." They gave a weight that was less than the previous weight provided and couldn't answer as to why I was receiving conflicting information. When I challenged the fact that the puppy manager had poor responses and little to no knowledge of my actual dog, the tone of the conversation shifted and the puppy manager became rude and argumentative. I asked for a manager to call immediately.
The "Senior Puppy Manager" then calls and once again, has NO information related to my actual puppy other than that he is too small. He then starts saying - he doesn't know for certain (because they don't know anything about my actual dog) - but the puppy probably has a health condition and I probably don't want him anyway. Couldn't tell me whether the dog had been to a vet, NOTHING! Nevertheless, the man starts trying to talk me out of the dog I've waited 2 months for. Then he asks if I want to choose another puppy. WHAT? No, I want the information about the puppy I've already paid $5k for. I also asked where the person was that I'd been talking to all along, and why I couldn't speak to him, and was told that person should have never been talking to me after the sale was made. I then asked who my puppy manager was and was told there was never one assigned to me! And the real kicker - I'm told there never was supposed to be one assigned to me, that it's just all random puppy managers anytime you call or use the app. An incredible admission for a service you pay top dollar for.
Honestly I could go on for hours about all the conflicting information I received and the extremely poor customer service. The promises on the site are all lies, when I asked to change from the puppy traveling with a concierge to local pickup at the airport all kinds of excuses were given as to why that couldn't be done. I don't believe a single word they ever told me, I don't think they were in contact with the breeder, and I absolutely think the dog was coming from a puppy mill. RUN FAR AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE.
Edited to add: Puppy spot ended up cancelling on me, telling me my puppy suffered from a liver shunt. Liver shunts are either congenital (i.e. present at birth) or develop later in life. My case was obviously congenital. The puppy suffered from this condition for months and was never seen by a vet that could've diagnosed this 12 weeks ago. The Senior Puppy Manager who I spoke to regarding my refund felt the need to explicitly tell me that the puppy, whose picture my family and I had been looking at and falling in love with for weeks, would be euthanized due to the condition. I knew this without it having to be said, but found it incredible that the PuppySpot representative felt the need to say it to me. Seriously, this site is BAD.

A member of our senior team connected with Meredith and we thank her for her feedback. It it truly sad to wait as long as she did to find out that puppy she was looking to welcome to her home was not healthy enough to do so. We wish her the very best in her future search for new furry family member.

HIDDEN HEALTH PROBLEMS!
Do not believe the positive reviews!
They fake these.
This was a horrific extremely devasting experience. These people use lies & puppy mills to provide low-quality, unhealthy puppies.
My French Bulldog puppy came to me looking very suspicious of people at first, timid and lacking connectivity. He cost over $5500.00 dollars. He arrived by transport from Missouri with a shoddy driver. During the purchase, I requested contact with Breeder and to see my puppies environment but videos were given, obviously staged, since then I have found the breeders online who have been cited for offenses against the animals well being and are pet store breeders at best, puppy mill breeders at the worst.
Long story short, my puppy was diagnoised with hystiosarcoma at 8 months old and I was told he had 3-4 months to live. I was in denial, reached out to puppyspot and they did absolutely nothing to reinburse me for purchase, just saying "send him back" who sends a sick puppy back, that you have fallen in love with. One year later last week Marvin died. He had been having seizures that wouldnt stop and was brain damaged. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE TERRIBLE PEOPLE. My heart is broken.

We share Ms Stein's feelings over the loss of her puppy - it is always heartbreaking to lose a pet. Our Health Guarantee provides for care for hereditary and congenital issues diagnosed outside of the first 14 days when a puppy is home within in the first year. Unfortunately, and as discussed with Ms Stein previously, the cause of Ms Stein's puppy's illness did not meet those criteria. Puppies are living beings and, sadly, this means bad things can happen to them that nobody can control or predict. As a community of dog lovers, we truly do share in her sadness and offer hope for healing over time for her loss.

puppyspot seems very high for buying a dog. These are companion quality dogs not show quality by you own registration wording and procedure. Yet, buying a dog at your prices is on me. It is nice that you provide pictures and details. Yet you are a third party who does not allow contract with the breeder which is poor. And you do not allow direct pick up and force a plane trip and car delivery which I believe makes you a little more money profit on the side. This is so poor. You do not allow contact with the breeder or interaction like pick up. You want your hands on the buying of a dog ( money) and then delivery ( money). And doing so does not only increase your profits but delays the actual delivery of getting a dog. If someone prefers for you to provide delivery, then fine, but if like me, I would have wanted to go for a direct pickup, that is not allowed and so poor. You refuse the buyer and breeder to interact and really get to know so much more. The only reason I dealt with you was that the Papillion offered was a great looker and what I was looking for. Otherwise, I would never recommend you for the above reasons.

We are sorry that you do not like the method by which we help healthy puppies find happy homes. We believe we provide many things to our families from our PuppySpot Promise https://www.puppyspot.com/promise to our Health Guarantee. And we are proud of the various methods of travel we can provide to safely bring a puppy to your home. That said, if we are not for you in the future, we respect that. We also will continue to wish you the best future for you and your new puppy.
