We purchased our puppy back in 2013 A Yellow female Labrador. She became a child to us. She was an indoor dog and was only outdoor when we were out so we could supervise her, just like you would with a real kid. Jump to 2022 she needed surgery for a torn ACL.We researched the best board approved vet surgeon around. After her surgery she wasn’t healing. We took her back in for another check up. Vet told us she had bone cancer. Remembering her guarantee we contacted the company in which we bought her from. At the time it was Purebred Breeders but is now named Puppy Spot. We contacted puppy spot in January 2023 after the death of our beloved lab whose life was taken too soon. We had a guarantee on her for 10 years. She died before her 10 birthday which is June 5 2023. Our Dakota girl died from osteosarcoma. A cancer that is a carried through genetics. We faxed every vet bill to puppy spot. After puppy spot reviewed our paper work and X-rays from our board certified vet they have told us that they have denied our claim. They said we have to prove our pet didn’t die from osteosarcoma due to environmental causes. How can we do that? They found a loop hole and we can’t prove it. Bottom line our dog died too soon from a cancer many say is hereditary. Many reviews state their puppies come to their owners sick or with broken limbs, malnourished, and with diseases. Please DO YOUR RESEARCH. Even though it’s convenient to buy online it’s best to buy in person from a reputable breeder. These people only care about their stocks. They earned 6.4 million in 2022. I feel this company doesn’t look into the depths of where these puppies come from, but how they can fill their pockets. How do you know where the puppies come from? Do you have people that check these locations? Because if you don't; you should. Great Hill Partners in Boston and all you fantastic CEO’s of this company, you need to take a deeper look into your reviews and see what people are reporting about them. Your puppy spot company has the worst customer service. We have been dealing with this for 4 months. That’s how long it takes your employees take to work on a customers claim. Had good interchanges with person one and the woman who first sold me the dog - can’t remember her name. Not so much with person two. She was the only one of the three who couldn’t take my credit card info over the phone. Sent me an email to provide the info via a link and it never went through. Why can two people take the credit card info over the phone and the third cannot? I had to ask three times to have the “puppy pack” cancelled before it was finally done and a receipt issued. Was told to get the Puppyspot app which I did, then was having trouble with it. When I called, I was told that it wasn’t working properly and to delete the app, which I did. Was never given any info regarding the breeder and no one ever questioned me to see what type of home I would provide. My puppy arrived via chaperone. She was a delight to work with and did a superb job. My pup is a joy and I love her to death. Papers from her vet in Ohio show she has an umbilical hernia which can be corrected at time of spay. If this additional procedure increases the cost of the spay, I will be contacting you to fulfill your “well puppy health guarantee.” Of course, these papers were completed by the vet at the time of her final vet check on 5-17-23. I was never notified that there was a problem, was told her weight and that she was in perfect health. To top it off, I was advised to purchase Royal Canin puppy kibble. I did so immediately so it would be sure to be here on time. When I received the pup, she was accompanied by a fairly small zip lock bag of kibble with a handmade label which said “Nutrisource “. I called Puppyspot that day, but they were closed. I called the next day as soon as they opened so I could get further information on which variety of Nutrisource to purchase. I have since called 3 more days to obtain this information as I needed to order the correct food as it is not prudent to make an abrupt change. As of the 4th day, the remaining food in the zip lock bag is almost gone. Puppyspot cannot get in touch with the breeder, gave me incorrect information as to which food to buy originally and has left me at the point of having to make an abrupt change in the pup’s food. Even if I chose one of the varieties of the Nutrisource small/medium breed puppy food (there are two options) I could not get it in a timely manner as it’s not carried by Chewy, Petco, or Petsmart. It’s carried by Amazon, but the delivery is 10 days, even for a prime customer. You need to do a better job of communicating with your breeders and your CUSTOMERS!!

Excellent, responsive service. Their advice and guidance was100% correct, and their actions backed-up their words. They followed through and did what they said they would do for my new puppy dog.

The people on the phone helping with petvselection and how to go to finance! Allan in Florida did a wonderful job! The puppy is gorgeous! It would have been a 5 except for my breeder experience! She didn’t tell me his ears were infected! I went straight to Banfield from the breeder! Some of the shots given by the breeder were given too early according to the vet!

If I could give PuppySpot 10 out of 5 stars I would, they really go above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of the puppies from the breeders that they partner with and were so fantastic with communicating updates, providing a ton helpful educational materials on how to prepare for and train my puppy, and answered all of my questions. My puppy arrived so happy and healthy thanks to his wonderful travel companion Jaclyn. She also was so gracious to provide me with photos of him during their travels to me and took a photo of us when we first met at the airport that I treasure. As a first-time dog owner I could not have asked for a more supportive team of people and I would recommend PuppySpot for anyone looking for a healthy and happy puppy!
