If you're not wanting a drunken party, stay away from this company - even those that are listed as snorkeling and snuba adventures - NOT Booze Cruise. I've done these kind of tours dozens of times over the years. I have never seen prior to this company absolutely NO safety training - none. Just "snorkelers - Jump off the front of the boat". And absolutely do NOT pay extra for snuba! I signed up for myself, husband, and daughter - and we were given less than FIVE minutes - LESS THAN FIve - before we were rudely told to 'GO SNORKEL NOW'. Also - don't expect to see any interesting coral or colorful fish or any other sealife other than crabs. The next almost 3 hours was the three of us and one other family we met trying to shield our kids from the massive drunken shenanigans from everyone else, including the crew.

Our snorkeling catamaran excursion was extremely disappointing and did not match the promotional description at all. The atmosphere was unprofessional, with profanity-filled staff language and music and staff drinking alcohol, which raised serious safety concerns. The snorkeling itself lasted only about 20 minutes with no flippers provided, and the “light snacks” were just a small bag of chips instead of what was advertised. Overall, we strongly recommend avoiding the Bebe Catamaran coordinated by Punta Cana Adventures due to the misleading advertising and poor experience.

Don't pay extra for pictures, the photographers are scammers. This took away from what was otherwise a nice excursion,

We booked two adventures with Punta Cana Adventures. All was good until it was time for the adventures to occur. They emailed us to meet our transportation to the adventure at our hotels “groups lobby”. To which in the hotel we were staying at - Hard Rock Resort has two lobbies. A main lobby and a groups lobby. While we arrived at our said meet up location (groups lobby) for our first adventure they were at the main lobby and I had to call the concierge of the company to explain to them where to go as they were in the wrong pick up location. Moving on to the second adventure a couple days later. We specifically arrived at the groups lobby as was told in our pick up location email. Arrive a few minutes before pick up and waited 25 minutes to no one for the adventure transport being there. We asked hotel employees if they saw a vehicle for an adventure, to which they replied no. During the 25 min wait I attempted to call the adventure companies concierge to no answer, sent them multiple WhatsApps to no answer. I then receive an email that the company said they waited for us at the groups lobby and left without us saying we were no shows and we are not going to get a refund. It was completely unacceptable and ridiculous on their part as they were insistent on them being in the right pick up location of which they were not. Long story short, they do not have professional staff, they have poor communication, and they are very poorly organized. They do not even know where the right pick up location they email you to meet them at is. As they were at the main lobby and not the groups lobby. I would not recommend working with them or doing any adventure with Punta Cana Adventures.

“Speedboat/Snorkeling Adventure” The boat is not as pictured. They are older boats. You do get to drive the boat, but a guide goes with you and helps dock the boat. They could use a serious upgrade on their equipment. My goggle straps were tied on one side and came apart a couple times. They kept leaking as well. We both had to try and hold them tight to our faces so the water wouldn’t come in so quickly. My life jacket had 1 working buckle. The others were either missing completely or broken. My husband’s was about the same. They gave no indication on what the plan was. We spent about 10-15 snorkeling as well as we could. They then had us drive over to where a bunch of boats hangout by a food/drink barge. Not included of course. I guess they wanted us to hang there for the next hour? I’d rather have snorkeled longer. We’d had enough and got back on our boat to have them take us back. There are also men trying to hustle you to take pictures with their birds and iguanas as you want to the boat. So irritating. Wouldn’t recommend

I think this tour could potentially be very fun on a sunny day. Unfortunately for us the weather was very poor. There was no cancellation or rescheduling. Instead we snorkeled in unsafe conditions. Check the weather before you to ensure you really want to do this.

If I could give zero stars I would. My aunt fell during the trip because they poured soap and water on the boat and she slipped. After she fell they didn’t have the proper tools to get her off the boat. In fact they had no tools they got a boogie board and tied her down. An ambulance wasn’t called they took her to hospital in the owners car. They were the absolute worst and didn’t even return us the trip money. Please don’t book through this company save yourself the trouble. My aunt had to pay thousands of dollars at the hospital over broken femur.

ID GIVE ZERO STARS IF GIVEN THE OPTION. -> Pirates of the Caribbean Tour, swim with Manta Rays + Nurse Sharks. **I BEG YOU NOT TO BOOK THIS TOUR** ***ANIMAL CRUELTY*** The Manta Rays are trapped in a small gated enclosure. Their stingers have been CUT ✂️ 😳 OFF so they are SAFE to swim with US. You sit on the side, legs in the water, and a worker takes a Manta and goes from 1 side to the other MAN HANDELING this beautiful creature, turning it on its back so WE can see its underside. While they talk about the Rays. Then you get into the water (it's not deep *my 12yr old stood in the water* and this is there enclosure to live in.) Then you just stand there holding this poor thing and the staff take your picture (to purchase, you are not allowed to bring your camera off the ship, probably to stop tourists from taking pictures of these horrific conditions + enclosures.) Next you switch to "swimming with nurse sharks" and those there, go to the Mantas. I didn't want to continue this excursion but just return to the ship, but I didn't want to upset my 12yr old. I knew deep down this wasn't right. You use this thing to float on that has a window to look down into the Nurse Shark SMALL GATED ENCLOSURE, GOOD LUCK FINDING THESE INNOCENT MAMMALS... why? Well they are all hovered together the bottom (not that deep) ALL facing the outer gate that leads out TO THE OPEN OCEAN... they're TRYING TO GET OUT, THEY CANT, THEY ARE TRAPPED. It us devastating to see. My heart was in pieces that my family paid $$$ to support this disgusting treatment of animals. Trapped for OUR ENTERTAINMENT, I wasn't entertained, I was sick to my stomach. But too nervous to say anything. I wanted to yell at all these people who work & provide this excursion. And obviously you cannot bring your camera to float around trying to finally spot a shark, and they're not taking pictures this time, why? Well, because are they going to take pictures of all these Nurse Sharks crowded together facing the gate to the open waters in this extremely small enclosure. YOUTUBE or GOOGLE this and you'll see videos of people trying to stop others from paying $$$ to support this FILTH. I also was told that it's the same with the Dolphins... so extremely sad. Just to entertain humans. There's plenty of places you can swim with Rays, Sharks and Dolphins that are treated BETTER, with huge enclosures. Educate yourself! I'm not bashing DR or Punta Cana, I've been to the island coming up my 6th time (5th in PC) in March. You want a tour with animals... Monkeyland 100% I'll be doing my 2nd trip there in March. All ages will enjoy! Don't book with this company that also offers the swimming with Rays, Sharks, and Dolphins, support a company that isn't about making $$$ torturing animals.
