Pumpkin is an Absolute scam
Pumpkin is an Absolute scam. I’m out ALL of the premiums I paid. I found out they have exclusion lists THAT ARE NOT listen in the contract. They call it “proprietary information.” It’s where the company can deny your claim based on “private company knowledge.” For example. IVVD and wobblers is considered curable with the surgery. Those conditions are listed on their “private list” As incurable. Therefore they will not cover them and they do not say they will not cover! I’m out over $1000!!! Just wanted to let everyone know before they throw away thousands and their pet is left with nothing if they get one of the unlisted conditions that no one knows about!

Hi Deana, thanks for your feedback. As required by law, all of our exclusions are listed in the policy. If you have any trouble locating that part of the policy, we are here to help! Like many providers, we are unable to provide coverage for anything pre-existing to the policy. That being said, if a condition is considered curable, and goes 180 days cured, treatment, and symptom free, and occurs again in the future, it can be eligible for coverage! If you have questions about a condition and whether or not it is considered curable, you can contact us and we are happy to help. I do see that your only claim for Titus was approved in full and the amount was applied to your chosen deductible. Keep in mind you chose the deductible at enrollment, but can change it each year at renewal if you'd like. If you have questions about a potential future claim or procedure, one great tool is to file an estimate. You can get an estimated invoice from your vet and file the claim as an estimate, and we will process it to determine what could be eligible for coverage. Without a claim filed and veterinary records obtained, we cannot make a determination regarding coverage. That being said, we are happy to answer any questions you have regarding a condition or potential coverage for Titus. You can contact us at [email protected] or chat in with us during business hours. All the best to you and Titus!
