I received excellent customer service from Margot. I had previously ordered only one Public Goods item. Today I placed an order and am looking forward to trying more!

I made a purchase back in 2021 during a free trial. The small print somewhere must have stated that they can use then use my credit card for an annual, auto renewing membership. They have charged me annually, for 4 years now, and I had no idea. I understand that I need better book keeping to catch this sooner, but I have never received any notifications from Public Goods, notifying me that I have an annual membership. No emails, no nothing. They refuse to refund me.

I was able to cancel my membership without too much issue, which has been a problem for me with other online retail subscriptions I've had in the past.

Fraud plain and simple. Charge for membership even when you cancel

Bought two sets on November 17th as Christmas gifts, the recipients either had product similar or did not care for the items. Tried to return and found out that aside from their normal 2 week return, there is no extended Holiday returns. They did not offer an exception and said sorry. Poor customer care. I started using a set myself and find that some of the utensils are oddly shaped and not easy to use. And on the spatulas there is a very thin layer of silicone at the seams that will definitely fall off with use at some point, hopefully not in our food.
