Not sure how to review Pteet, I bought it for one year of rental car use, but have not had to use it. The coverage and the rate seems good, but no way to verify that it works well until I have an accident, so hopefully never.

Thank you Kurt for the review! I think I know what you mean by "use", given it doesn't become real and visceral until you have an accident and have to claim. I have used the annual damage policy too, given I don't own a car. I've renewed for three years running and only recently did I have a claim driving an enterprise car. I provided the insurance company with the relevant info and they settled the claim directly with enterprise. Painless. Thus, in my case I did use the policy for for three years, given it protected each of my rentals, and luckily it was only one time that I actually had to claim on it. Safe travels! Pteet.com Team

Alliance is a great product. Covers what you need to cover. Just don't rent a 60k vehicle, it only covers up to 40k. That'll get you covered on 75% of the cars and suv's. I'm seeing rent a cars with higher mileage, so it's all good. I use it on all my rental cars. You can save over half on what those guys charge. Sometimes 2/3's.

Hello Roman and thank you so much for the enthusiastic and detailed review! You are correct that the coverage limit being $40K, even though one can rent cars that are valued up to $75K, however we'll only cover the first $40K in damage. Safe travels! Pteet.com Team

Didn't realize you had to drive 100 miles away from home for the insurance to work.
Response from Pteet.comJan 22, 2020
Hello Joseph Thanks for the review. Sorry that you didn't realize there was mileage restrictions. Below is the text the we display just above the "PAY" button -------------------------------------------- By clicking "Pay" I agree: * I have reviewed the Certificate of Insurance/Policy. * to the policy being emailed to me. * I am traveling 100 miles or more from my primary residence (one-way or return). * I have not yet picked up my rental car. ******PAY BUTTON****** -------------------------------------------- I can understand it's not always easy to notice the instructions during the purchase process. Perhaps we could make the above text more obvious. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Safe travels! Pteet.com Team
