It’s crazy how we open these packs brand new and send cards out hoping for a 10 and a flying charizard comes back a grade 7. This is an absolute joke.

PSA must be hiring some very strange characters in attempting to catch up to their everlasting backlog. I too received an invitation for $50 off on a graded card. So I sent it in: to my eye, and magnifying glass, a beautiful example of a vintage Mantle card. They rated it a "2". I thought I must have missed something. When they sent it back, it was askew in the holder. It looked like an amateur had tried to imitate a real PSA holder. And I have been collecting baseball cards for about 60 years. I looked this card over in its holder: square, sharp corners, no creases, slight edge wear, no surface wear. A "2"? These guys had to be on magic mushrooms. First and last time I submit to PSA. I know more than they do.

Absolute nightmare company to deal with. I sent a high value Pokémon card and sold it through their eBay. They are so incompetent that they had no idea why my payment wasn’t going through for over a month. They finally tell me they lost my card through transit (aka STOLEN). After waiting, again, for the CRC to contact me, they offer me a refund. Cool I guess until you realize they take weeks to send you documents to sign. Also doesn’t help they will send a check that will supposedly be here in a month according to them. I wish I went with Beckett.

PSA grading is an absolute comedy show. I sent in my very first batch of cards: fresh out of the pack, untouched, straight from the manufacturer… and they come back with a 9. Meanwhile, a card that’s been passed around like a party favor, shoved in boxes, handled by multiple owners? That one somehow gets a 10. Makes total sense, right? And yes, I’m fully aware that new cards aren’t always flawless thanks to printing or packaging issues—but come on, the logic here is laughable.

PSA does not adhere to UK consumer protection laws, repeatedly citing their “no refunds” policy as an excuse. I subscribed to their Collector Club but never received the magazine (the only benefit available to international customers). The subscription advertises three benefits: two are U.S.-only (bulk submissions and grader specials), and the third is the monthly magazine. Despite this, customer support insists the magazine is just an “add-on” rather than a core benefit, while still claiming I have access to the U.S.-only services. This is misleading to UK customers and breaches consumer protection law. Avoid this company. (For reference i purchased my subscription on the 30th may)

I recently received my 2023 Finest Star Wars Yoda Purple Raywave /75 back from grading, and I noticed a piece of foreign material on the inside of the slab. This material was not present on the card when it was submitted. The card was thoroughly inspected and gently wiped down by both myself and the card shop owner and then placed into the proper shipping holders per PSA’s rules. It was completely clean at the time of submission. Unfortunately, it now appears that there is some type of foreign substance 100% between the slab and card which also caused a stain or discoloration on the card itself. Very disappointing.

Most misleading process ever and then when grades were ready, clock the link to see your grades but no grades shown in crossover service because card didn't cross over. Such a waste of time and money...
